Today on January the 56th we are having our fourth weekly review of the month. How is it that the first month of the year seems neverending !! But nevertheless we had the most beautiful Winter weather the last couple of days.
Also time passes so quick, how in the world does she look so big !! Standing on my bench and looking at my lipsticks.
Weekly Review #4
What we ate
Monday – Always a one pot meal on these day cause I have no time to cook in the evening. We made Gnocchi with mushrooms and a pesto sauce.
Tuesday – Tuesday is chicken day. I always get a rotisserie chicken and ribs and some potatoe salad from a local vendor.
Wednesday – Potatoe soup
Thursday – Chinese take-out day. IYKYK.
Friday – Leftovers from our take-out and butter noodles for the girls. We had a time were they wanted butter noodles for all meals of the day, every day. This has gotten way better.
Saturday – I just love a lazy weekend moring with my favorite breakfast – French Toast and Bacon and Eggs. With lots of maple syrup and butter. When I have such a rich breakfast I try to scale back on the other meals
Sunday – We are always at my in-laws on Sunday and we had my favorite dish – chicken stew and German nockerl.
What I wore
Closet challenge is still on and this week my husband picked out one different piece everyday and I had to style it. I was very pleased that week cause he picked many things I wouldn´t have, so I got to wear things I haven´t in a long time. Loved every single one of my outfits this week.
What we did
Caught in the dreariest and freezing Winter weather there really wasn´t much to do. We had a pediatrician appointment on Wednesday but that was pretty much it. I am longer for warmer days when the outside world becomes available again for us.
We attended our monthly children´s mass at church and all of the girls really enjoyed the music and the stories.
Misc
Dunkin Doughnuts already has their Valentine´s selection. Going to venture there next week to try some or all 🙂
