This week leading up to Easter has not been less busy than the last four weeks. Although all our afternoon activites have been paused cause we are on Easter break but it was still pretty busy around here. I have never been so late planning my Easter brunch foods or even my table decor but there have been so much more pressing matters that it just fell right of the table until a few days before.

MEALS

MONDAY – Tomatoe soup – if I don´t know what to cook this will always be my number one food

TUESDAY – Pasta with ham and cheese  simple but a family favorite

WEDNESDAY – left overs

THURSDAY – Chinese Take-Out – I usually have a Thai curry, little spicy with lots of veggies, rice and chicken

FRIDAY – Salmon and broccoli – we do not eat meat on the Friday before Easter so salmon is our first choice when it comes to fish

SATURDAY – Easter Brunch at our house

SUNDAY – Easter brunch at my in-laws house – we have been so full both days that we didn´t need any dinner for ourselves

FASHION

Spring outfits still going strong. Can´t tell you how much I have missed those easy, breezy days with warm winds and sunshine. Easy to get dressed and not freeze to death outside.

ACTIVITIES

The girls have been at home all week because of the Easter break so we played a lot. Built up Playmobil worlds full of mermaids or whimsical forests with fairies and unicorns. I just love this age. They are so creative and their imagination is mind blowing.

Between playing at home and going on a few playdates I had some prep to do for our annual Easter brunch on Saturday. The table scape turned out so cute with the carrot table runner and the orange place mats. At first I thought they wouldn´t match cause the burnt orange is such a classic Fall shade but I thought it looked amazing. I have done so many tablescapes over the years but still love to think of new ones every ocassion I get.

MISC

Since we are a lot of families thrown together everyone got their own day to host Easter (as well as Christmas). Mine has always been the Saturday before Easter Sunday and I do not have a problem with it. In fact it is quite convenient, cause if you find out that there is something missing you can run to the store real quick and grab it.

Our weeks are still super busy and I can not believe how we manage each and every week. I am recapping our week every Sunday and I am astonished at how much we are able to get done.

We had our littlest´s baptism today (going to recap this very soon for you with all the details to the decor and stuff) and it was a great day celebrating our little love.

FASHION

It is finally warm enough to wear dresses round the clock. I have so many I love and it has been hard for me to decide which one to wear but those are champagne problems right?!

ACTIVITIES

We have been outside so much the last week cause it was finally dry and warm and why not make some chalk art. I love how creative my little girls are and how they love to draw.

MISC

I have started the week with a doughnut run because why not !! And it turned out to be the right thing cause it has been a very long week. Our garden flowers started to bloom in their fullest and it is so beautiful. Spring makes the prettiest colors.

We celebrated Easter a little early in our mom group and I made an easy no crust cheesecake topped with pistachios and strawberries. It was delicous and everyone loved it. Going to share the recipe soon.

This has been quite the week. Between looking to get everything together for my great-aunts move into her nursing home I had to organize some things for our baptism next week and I also had to pack up a ton of stuff for our trip to Salzburg. We only stayed for two nights but we needed as much as if we´d be away for a week. It is insane how much you need to pack with three little children.

MEALS

MONDAY – Potatoes and sausage

TUESDAY – Build your own burger

WEDNESDAY – Sandwiches

THURSDAY – Leftovers – so there wouldn´t be so much food left in the fridge

FRIDAY – Dinner at the Sternbräu in Salzburg

SATURDAY – Dinner at Yuan in Salzburg (I have eaten the best Terriaky chicken here, ever)

SUNDAY – Pasta Carbonara

FASHION

I have tried cargo pants for the first time this week. The yellow pair you see in the third picture and although I think the way I styled them was pretty cool I do not think that this is a trend I want to embrace. I am really not a huge fan of pants and only have a few pair of jeans I like.

Dresses and skirts – yes, please but these kinds of pants. Not sure, what do you guys think ?

ACTIVITIES

We initially gifted my MIL a weekend in Salzburg. An all-inclusive fully planned  weekend with tickets for sightseeing, activites and vouchers for dinner, but we had the idea to surprise her there since it was her 60th birthday in February. So we all packed and went to Salzburg in Austria the same day she did and hid somewhere around the city where she wouldn´t see us by mistake. We all met up for dinner and it was the biggest surprise cause she really didn´t expect a thing. She teared up multiple times and was so happy with us all there. We also had a blast exploring the city and its surrounding but more about Salzburg in a separate travel post.

MISC

It was finally time to put up some Easter decor. I didn´t want to set it up earlier cause I was planning and prepping Emilia´s birthday party, so here we are. Although the decor colors are very subtle (I wanted them to match our entryway) I personally love it a lot. The striped Easter eggs are my favorite as well as the velvet bunnier and the feather filled eggs.

It was birthday week of my first born girl. The one that made me a mother and I am very proud of my little one. She has turned five years. Five!!! I just can´t wrap my head around the fact that she has been with us the last five years. I still remember it as if it was yesterday.

MEALS

MONDAY – Tomatoe Soup

TUESDAY – Chicken and salad

WEDNESDAY – Cheeseburger and sweet potatoe fries homemade

THURSDAY – leftovers

FRIDAY – Spaghetti and meatballs

SATURDAY – Salad with chicken breast

SUNDAY – Schnitzel and tater tots

FASHION

I have picked up my love for all of my dresses after I have rearranged my closet and now I have about 20 in line I can´t wait to wear for Spring time.

ACTIVITIES

This week was all about my daughter´s 5th birthday party. We celebrated for 3 days. Her actual birthday has been on Thurday and we made a day trip as a family of 5. On Friday she had invited some of her Kindergarten friends over and we celebrated her again and yesterday all of our relatives have been her and we enjoyed a out of the world tasty fairy cake.

MISC

We had to run to the ER on Friday night cause one of my little ones had trouble breathing. It wasn´t the first time and probably won´t be the last
