I am just checking in with a quick make-up look I´ve been wearing fife out of seven days recently. It is super easy to apply, also quick and perfect for Summer days plus it definitely fits the summery feel.
There are only 6 prodcuts you need (seven if you end up with fake lashes like I did but that´s is totally optional) to achive this simple Summer beauty look.
Maybelline Superstay Powder in color 21 Nude // Great prodcut to hold up in the Summer heat as it is longlasting and waterproof plus it holds up great under a mask since this is our new normal and needs to be considered as well.
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara // Ordered this some time ago and totally love the volume and lenght it gives my upper lashes. Great mascara and I am really picky with mascaras.
E.L.F bronzer // Got this for many years now so it still has the old packaging but the colors are the same.
Nars lipstick in color Rouge Insolent // Cute and bright Summer color. It is more a corally red and definitely works in the hotter months.
Ardell lashes style Demi Black 120 // Added this lashes to the style but it´s totally optional as it will take longer than five minutes then but I still had them on so I am linking them here as well.
It will only take you five minutes to apply to look put together and slightly tanned and bronzed. Perfect for the office if you are not WFH or even for a date night out. The red lipstick really makes the look pop and the bronzed cheeks add such a vacation flair to it.

let´s talk tanning today. We are heading towards the end of Summer and you might think by now I would have a slight tan of my own but I don´t. I have been more outside than ever because I am home with our baby plus we have a blow up pool but I am still pale over here not to say white, snow white.
I have tried different self tanner but to be honest I was staying away as long as possible to be more specific until this year. Do you remember the tanning lotions that came out way back when we where teenager? They were impossible to apply evenly all over so there was always a spot where your natural skin color still existed and the selection has been more than poor. With this still in the back of my mind I dreaded using self tanner for a long time but I have found a great alternative – the Vita Liberata Body Blur.
What is it and what does it?
Bacically it is a foundation for your skin. It colors your skin and definitely blurs out little bumps and bruises plus the body blur leaves a smooth and shiny finish thanks to shea butter as ingredient. It is supposed to hold up to 24 hours.
You can apply it with your hands or a make-up brush but I used a self tanner mitten to apply it as evenly as possible. I got the color Latte Light and it definitely looks still natural on my skin but I think I could also have gone one shade darker.
I liked it a lot as it doesn´t rub off on the clothing plus it survived half an hour in the blow up pool. It definitely is a great alternative to a actual self tanner or a spray tan. I would not recommend to use it daily but it is great for events where you want to look good from head to toe. Although it is a little pricey costing 35 Euro it absolutely beats being out in the sun and getting burned.

June has been a great months of new beauty finds for me. I got a bunch of awesome things that I wanted to share with you. Some beauty and some make-up products and of course a lipstick. Isn´t there always a lipstick in my reviews?!
Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream // Ordered it cause I wanted to join the hype and it definitely is the best smelling body cream I have ever had. You can totally feel the Summer after applying it plus the smell last the whole day. It really is pricey but a little goes a long way and it leaves you with an amazing scent on your smooth skin.
Sol de Janeiro Acai Cream // Got the travel size from the Acai smell cause the other scent was magnificent. It is good but not as good as the Bum Bum Cream. Not going to purchase this one again.
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick in color Rosewood Supreme // Never had a YSL lipstick before and since they had been on sale I finally got one. The color is one of my favorite pink shades. The color goes on super easily, is highly pigmented and the texture is so smooth. It definitely is pricey so I would wait for a sale.
Smooth Sexy Hair Shine Hairspray // I had the Revlon shine spray before and was on the lookout for another shine spray so I tried the travel size of this one. It is really good so I am definitely going to get the big version.
Bumble & Bumble Thickening Dryspun Volume Texture Spray // I have been on the hunt for a texture spray that does something for my hair for a long time now and this one is not bad. I can see small changes in terms of volume but just not enough. I am sure there can be more so I am going to report back when I find a better one.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation // Awesome foundation I can only recommend. It has full coverage and blurs out all imperfections. It is buildable and available in a ton of different shades. The Double Wear foundation is the closest to the MAC Studio Fix foundation I have used everyday. The only thing I don´t like is that it has no pump dispenser so it get´s messy really fast.
Kiehl´s Ultra Light Daily UV Defense Cream // My new face cream for Summer time. I was searching for a cream with a high SPF and this one has a 50 so it doesn´t get higher. The cream itself is pretty light and not sticky at all and works fine for underneath my make-up. I absolutely love it. Hated each and every lotion with SPF before but this one is awesome.
Sorry for going live without any written content. I do have some issues with the saving these days. I write my texts and add my links and also change the picture size but somehow it doesn´t save and I end up posting the draft. Need to figure out what is going wrong here.
But with not further ado I am sharing the latest beauty products I have gotten in. I love to try new things others have purchases and also wandering through the beauty department and finding new interesting products.
New Beauty Prodcuts To Try
Airspun powder // The best smelling powder I have ever used. This is the first check here. The second check is that it doesn´t look cakey at all after applying plus it is super lightweight. Another great fact is that it stays matte for a good 8 hours and that is awesome with my oily skin. The third check would be the price. It is under 15 Euro which makes it a fantastic product, also the pan is huge and filled with a ton of powder so this will last a long time.
Catrice HD Baking & Setting Powder // Before the Airspun face powder I have used this setting powder in my make-up routine and I also liked it a lot. It is only available in one color fits all but since I am pretty pale year round it fits my skin tone perfectly. It stays matte quite the long time which is really important if you have oily skin. Overall it is a great prodcut / price ratio.
Catrice 1 Minute Face Perfector // Actually have found the 1 minute face perfector through Emily Gemma´s blog and was dying to try it. It evens out every bump on your skin nicely and although the color looks a little dark in the beginning it changes to your actual skin tone after it set. A great primer for a less money. I have been really impressed with the Catrice products lately as the varitey and also the quality increases all the time.
Ritual of Sakura Body Cream // One of the best smelling body procuts out there on the market. In fact all of the Rituals products are great. This is my favorite scent of all their lines. The body creme is a little more on the pricier side but it is so long lasting and nourishing for the skin and also if you want to you can reuse it and rebuy the pan.
Toni & Guy Sky High Volume Dry Shampoo // In my opinion the best volume spray I have found so far. It is reasonable priced and also holds up my hair very well. The smell is great and the fact that it doubles as a dry shampoo and refreshes your hair while holding it up is just another great point on the check list for a great volume spray. It costs 15 Euro and since it has been sold out once I now keep a back-up in my bathroom cabinet.
Ouai Texturizing Hair Spray // Got this one as the Toni & Guy prodcut was sold out and to be honest it doesn´t do anything for my hair. It cost 25 Euro and using it doesn´t make a difference at all so this was a total waste.
Garnier Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer // The first self tanner I have ever used and so far I am pretty happy with it. I had some problems applying it the first time but the second time it looked way more even. Still finding out if it is buildable. Since the mousse it without any color it is a little hard to apply as you can´t see where you have already been but the smell has been a real delight. I heard that some self tanner have a real ugly smell with them but not this one. The price is fine for under 10 Euro. I am going to write a post only on self tanning when I am ready so stay tuned.
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Sun // I have been sneaking around this perfume since last summer and finally pulled the trigger on it since I was afraid it will go out of the market some time soon. The smell is amazing. I really don´t like a lot of perfumes cause when they are to sweet I get a bad headache. The scent of the Light Blue Sun is super light which fits the light breeze on a boat as well as the sunset at a beach club. It is on the pricier side as 25 ml are over 50 Euro but if you do like the scent I would say get it cause if you only use in the summer it will last as a little goes a long way.
L´Oréal Color Riche Ultra Matte Free the Nudes in color No Cage (a burnt brown shade) and No Doubts (a beige shade with a warm finish) // My love for lipsticks is still going strong although with all the mask wearing outside wearing a lipstick has become a little pointless I am not giving up on my most important beauty prodcut cause I believe there comes a time for all of our bright lipsticks after Corona. For the Color Riche lipsticks there is not much to add. I love them and used them for year, own several pieces of other limited collections and am always looking forward to get new colors.
