I have been baking and preparing for Florian´s birthday party the whole day today. His and my mom also helped so it happened pretty quick and was a real blast. 

I just wanted to share this neutral look with you guys cause as you know I love a good and bright color, but sometimes it just has to be a little less so I swap my vibrant pink pieces for a soft blush. And you know what? I also love it. Fashion is all about variety in colors, cuts and also your needs. If you don´t feel good and don´t want the attention a bold pink shade gets you opt for nude or pastell tones.

Our party has a Mexican Fiesta party theme so there is going to be lots of taccos, salsa , guacamole and margaritas. Stay tuned for our DIY tacco bar. I am going to share them next week.

hope you are doing fine -mine could be a slight better, got a headache from the changing weather and also I had so much onions in my salad last night everything I eat or drink tastes like it – but let´s get to the main topic today. Back to school seems to be everywhere these days (school starts here again in the middle of September). Everyone is stocking up on school supplies for the new year and the older semester on new looks. 

I am sharing my Back To School interpretation here. This is what I would wear today if I would go back for the first day of school. My motto was trends meet old school (how fitting right?!) and also I was watching Grease a few hours before our shoot so I had to add a headband and a college jacket.
The kick flare pant was a last years find but they are still on trend and you can find them almost at every brand. So since this model isn´t available anymore I am going to link some similar options.
A big bag also is not too bad if you are having a lot to take with you like books, scrapbooks, folders, a laptop, some food and water. I got this Céline dupe last year and still love it. The site it is from is called Fashion Drug and has awesome and high quality pieces.

 Black and white is never a wrong color combination whether you want to keep it casual or you want to dress it up so it is easy to say that this college jacket is going to fit most of your looks.

hopefully it is a happy Moday to you. I am tired to my bones. The hot weather is not good for sleeping through at night at all. I know I shouldn´t complain about all the sun and the high temperatures but that is something which really bothers me.

But let´s move on to the look. Despite the heat I would probably be tired if it was Winter as well.

The look is really simple and casual but also very summery and an office look. The shirt is a little shorter more like a cropped version but since the pants have a high-waist fit no one is able to see your skin.
To go on with the color sheme of the pink flamingo in the shirt – aren´t flamingos still so adorable ?? – I went with a pair of pink sandals and a matching bag. The little scarf tied onto the handle of the bag is last season but since these scarves became so popular I bet I can find a simlar version to it.
 The earrings are from H&M and real fun. I have to admit I first had worn a pair of pink tassel earrings like these to the look (which probably looked a little better) but the color rubbed off and then I had pink skin and also pink color in my hair. Maybe it was the high humidity on this day or me sweating so bad but this never happened before and I have the same earrings in several colors.

last week I have found the ultimate dream booties. The booties that are too good to be true. Booties which Sleeping Beauty would wear year round. Romantic booties with embroidered flowers all over

Have I said enough. Probably not. I could rave about them all day, but what is better than talking about them??? Showing you how I styled them!!!
They are from Tamaris. I found them by coincidence through the widgedt of another blog I was reading cause I wasn´t even looking for a new pair and here they are.

This pair is perfect for every girly girl who loves flowers, pink and brocade. Yes that is the material they are made of. Makes them even more noble.
 I paired them with my Coach Prairie bag I got from our trip to London in March. The color of the bag is matching the embroidered flowers on the booties perfectly.


I combined a dress to them cause I didn´t want them to be hidden under a pair of denim so I went with a simple black dress with a belt around the waist to set some focus. For outerwear I took this oversized wool cardigan in a blazer style. 


The cadett cap and the tights with a fishnet pattern rounded up the whole look.


I did´t want to go to crazy with accessories and colors to not loose the focus on the booties. 


What do you think of them? Aren´t they real life princess shoes?
