Good morning guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

and happy Hump Day. I am back with another fashion post today. I am finally getting  back to my normal posting routine. No more ocassional posts or themes I had to move forward. Which means I am posting mainly about fashion trends and outifits and once a week a recipe, a personal post, a beauty review or a a travel itinerary (in case you are new around here).

This look was shot at a park in Leipzig behind the MDR Panorama tower we visited (Leipzig post is up tomorrow). I personally love the color red and also highwaisted paperbag pants. There is something so chic but comfortable about them. Even if you woudl only combine a simple shirt or body suit to it, it would still look put together and chic.

The leopard print cardigan I am wearing above is pretty old but still a huge trend. You can get almost every piece of clothing with leopard print and I love that. The pattern is here to stay.

For leaving the focus on the pants I went with a black turtleneck and simple ankle booties. But to be honest a little glam should not be missed at an outfit so I added a pair of big gold hoops and a golden flap bag from Aldo.

Summed up this is a really nice, comfortable and cozy but still chic and a little glam winter look. Also adding some color never hurts. When all of your surroundings are dull be sure to match your coffee cup.

Thanks for stopping by and if you are interested in my Leipzig city trip guide be sure to check back tormorrow.

Good morning guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I have my first day back at work today after almost three weeks off. So I hope this goes well (have a really bad feeling though).

I wanted to share this adorable pink corderoy blazer I have shared on my Instagram feed a few weeks ago. One of my favorite bloggers – Teggy French – has worn it to the beginning of her #teggyfrenchchallenge and I couldn´t stop thinking about it. And also what is not to love. It is pink and corderoy is one of the huge latest fabric trends also it is under 40 and the quality is really good.

I ordered it from SheIn (be sure to check out my guide to shop their site here) and it arrived pretty quickly for the fact that the holiday hustle and bustle had already started and almost every shop was sending out late.

But let´s move on to the look. To make the pink stand out I decided to go with an all black and white look. The polka dot bow blouse was a find of a few weeks back. I officially had this one planned for another look but changed my mind so it was the perfect addition for this outfit.

Another hidden gem are these beautiful boots. I got them on Black Friday from Mango and loved them ever since. They are so outstanding and although they have a pattern all over they match great with so many different pieces.

Be brave and experiment bold bright colors and different patterns for the new year. I definitely will incorporate that more into my daily outfits. Hope you like it.

But let´s get another cup of coffee and conquer that work day.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Happy Thursday guys,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
are you still in vacation or are you already back to work? I have one week left and still so much I wanted to accomplish during my spare time. Not sure if I make it but I can definitely share this look with you today.

This is probably my most worn weekend look. Always a little different but the main pieces like a comfortable pair of leggings and an oversized cardigan to cover up my back stay. Also a denim button down shouldn´t be missed in your closet. For me this is an absolute statement piece almost like a white blouse since it is super versatile and can be dressed up and down in so many ways.

I usually run a lot of errands on the weekends so I always carry a lot of stuff around with me. A big tote or shopper bag is the perfect companion. I got this beautiful studded blue shopper bag from Fiorelli and I love it. I have had several bags from the brand years ago but then they had a redesign and I wasn´t into them anymore but now they are coming back strong with fresh and beautiful handbags.

So now I am heading out for groceries and then I am trying out this recipe. Is is supposed to be delicious and I hope it turns out that way.

Hopefully I am also going to switch my site to WordPress. We´ll see how that works later today. Stay tuned for any news.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

How to wear a velvet dress + my guide to shop at SheIn…

….
(post contains affilate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
Velvet dresses didn´t get me as excited as the rest of the fashion crowd when they came out and I wasn´t into them right away. I first thought that is such a grandma material and not flattering at all but I am sure open to be taught a better one. And I was. My first velvet piece was a gorgeous blush t-shirt I have worn so many times the last winter and spring that I can not count it. So the styling of more velvet pieces followed. I got a gold studded blazer jacket, a burnt orange skirt and this beautiful dark blue midi dress. I ordered it from SheIn and it came in time and was made of good quality and great color. Definitely gonna wear this on one of the Holidays.
I paired it with all gold accessoires and a nude faux fur jacket but it would be also really pretty if paired with silver heels and accessoires.

So let´s move on to the next topic I get several question about. Ordering pieces from the SheIn online shop. I know some of you don´t trust the shop or have read lots of bad comments or reviews but I have to say (and this post is in no way sponsored, just wanted to share my experience with you) I have never gotten one bad piece where I thought this has to go into the trash can right away. I never had a lost or forgotten order and customer service is really fast.

How is the quality? // It depends on what you get but I have to say mostly good. I really never had such a bad piece I couldn´t wear. The skirt and dresses I ordered had been lined so far. There was never a seam that opened right away or was already open. Also the sequins on differnt items are sewed on very well.

How are the prices? // I think they range from very affordable (you could say cheap as well but I really don´t like the negativity of the word) to normal. You cant get a blouse from 8 to 15 € and coats from 20 to 60 €. They also offer daily flash sales including a wide range of products and almost always discount codes to save money.
How long takes shipping? // It depends on the season. They are really busy around every holiday so be sure to place your order early
How is sizing? // Sizing can be really tricky so I wouldn´t give to much of the size comparisons they have. ALWAYS meassure. I do this everytime (had a piece that was way too small on my first order) and I have never had one that didn´t fit again. Be sure that you don´t meassure to tight. One or two centimetres don´t impair the fight or the silhouette but it can give you a little more freedom of movement.
How can I pay? // So this one is the easiest question of all. You can pay with any credit card and if you don´t have one you can pay through Paypal but you always have to pay upfront.

What else do they offer? // You can get rewards in form of points by confirming the arrival of the package and also by uploading and posting a styled picture with one of your bought articles and I think you also get points by reviewing pieces. I hope this helps a little to get rid of your concerns about bad comments. If you are still not sure about it why not order one simple piece and see if you like it.

Here are some of the pieces I got lately and loved a lot:

– olive pearl ruffled sweater
– leopard sequin pencil skirt
– 60´s inspired tie-neck sweater
– pink corderoy blazer jacket
– clear wooden handle bag
–  neon pink turtleneck sweater
– fringe hem striped poncho sweater
– white eyelet blouse
– scalloped hem t-shirt (so many pretty colors available)
– sequin cami dress

And now have fun shopping.

As always thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
