every year we are awaiting the arrival of the new Pantone color of the year and this year it is a vibrant and bold color – ultra violet.

I am a lover of most bold colors and this beauty is no exception. Whether you are looking for a lipstick, an eye shadow or just some accessories. I am going to have you covered. There are going to be some more post about this lovely color. 

So for today´s look I have teamed up with Zaful to show you one way to combine the stunning ultra violet color with a soft hue of lavender. 

Since this is such a vibrant color I would opt for a less exciting color to combine like pastells, nudes or black or white. The sweet ruffle detailing adds some girly flair to the sleek pencil skirt. Also the flouncy layered sleeve pullover is a little cropped in the front so that makes it easier to tuck it in into high waisted skirts or pants. It is available in six other colors so there might be one you love too. Be sure to check the size guide of their products cause they tend to run small.

My accessories are kept nude to leave the focus on the main colors the look is about. A pair of patent platform heels and a classic handbag with a modern twist (the embroidery really makes it a stunner) help to round up the look.
 Since I am all about Spring the temperatures started to drop a lot and since I ordered my first pieces it started to snow. Somehow I now think it is my fault!!! Hope it gets better after this snow fall. I want to wear lighter blouses and skirts so badly.

I totally understand that everyone is craving Spring at the moment. Me too. I love browsing throught the web and see what´s new for Spring but then I am going outside and I can not wear Spring clothing for pictures now. It is still too cold. The temperatures are below zero during the night and until noon.


So instead of a flowery pink blouse I decided to got with a faux fur jacket and a headband I recently got. The headband was a birthday present from my future SIL so I don´t have a brand but I am listing similar ones but the jacket is from Galeria Kaufhof and the softest I have ever owned. Perfect for throwing over any kind of look you want to upgrade now. Whether it is a dress your are planning on wearing for Valentine´s or just a shirt and pants combo. 


By adding a beautiful embellished belt to the look – got mine from Asos and isn´t it similar to a high end designer brand we all adore but only 17 Euro!!!!!! – you can easily take it from day to night. 

The kind of booties I am wearing in this post are a go-to. A pair of pointed toe booties in all black with a high and slim heel shouldn´t be missing in any wardrobe. 

Michael Kors bags are some of my all time favorites so it is no surprise I am wearing this dark red shopper every time it matches an outfit. 

I probably got 8 more looks for colder days I am spreading over the next three weeks and then I am all into Spring I promise. Cause I also can´t take the cold anymore.

it has been a while since I really started on mixing different patterns and I have to say I got really comfortable with it. Now it is not a problem for me to find out which ones match. 

Taking colors from the same family is also a huge game changer cause the different patterns are enough mixing up the look. A bunch of different colors too will make it look really akward. Adding a bold lip is enough to get some more color into the look.

The outift was taken at the Schönbrunn castle in Vienna. The area was huge and in fact it was so cold and there weren´t many people around so that we could shoot at this beautiful spot with no one else in the background.

The cardigan is from H&M and a little old but I loved ever since I got it. One of the fashion rules is saying that black and brown don´t match or shouldn´t be combind together but I do love them together so ditched this. 

To add some more color I added a faux fur leopard print scarf to the look and also a pair of brown boots and my beloved Michael Kors shopper.

The lip stain I am wearing is MAC and the color is called “stay matte with me”. Also got this in Vienna for my birthday and I loved the color ever since. I am wearing it up to three times a week. So this product really got me hooked.

Since we had a day full of appointments yesterday – we decided on a wedding cake and I found my dream wedding dress – we didn´t do anythig big today. Just staying around the house and cooking and baking.

after our coming back from our getaway to Vienna there where lots of pretty new things in my suitcase. So after I unpacked I started outfit planing with my new things. I you have been following me for a little now you might now how much I love velvet. Doesn´t matter which piece it is I just love it. 
I got this velvet moto jacket from the sale rack of Forever21. It has this gorgeous dusty rose shade and it is so soft. The style makes it a pretty cool piece. I decided to wear it with a dress and otk boots since a pair of pants just didn´t do its justice. 

They got lots of things left but only some rare treasures and this was one it. I am still totally into velvet. I also wanted a velvet dress for Christmas too but I had so many other option I wanted to wear so there literally wasn´t an ocassion left. 

Anther beautiful velvet piece it this bag. What do you think? I totally might order this one….
