I am sharing this beauty on my blog today cause sometimes I find pieces I love and which are so flattering that I can´t stop wearing them and this definitely one of those.

One of the most flattering dress styles (or shirt styles) is the wrap dress and ever since Diane von Furstenberg invented it, it has been the fashion crowd´s and ordinary women´s  favorite. The style is great for every body type which makes it a total hit. The possible use is endless. Whether you are wearing it on a date night, to work or just casual for running errands. This really is a piece every women´s closet needs. 
I got mine from Mango about two weeks ago and worn it a few times already. It has such a nice 70´s inpired triangle print in gorgeous colors like blush and this beautiful cognac brown color. 

I paired it with my current favorite bag from Guess which matches the blush shade just perfect and also a pair of tan wedges which also are a great add to it.

But you could also go with blush heels, a black blazer jacket and a clutch or even with embellished sandals and a straw bag. 

I said it before and I say it now. It is quite the allrounder for every task.

Wedding Wednesday – our engagement photos…

we finally shot our engagement photos two weeks ago and I love how they turned out. Seriously so pretty. The day was perfect. We meet in the morning around nine a.m. with our photographer (the same we shot our Christmas card picutres with). It was already warm and sunny and overall such a nice start of the day.

I know we got engaged in December but I wanted to have my engagement photos with flowers and a springish background and since there was still snow until about 6 weeks ago we couldn´t get them any earlier.

But I am really happy how they turned out. We are such good looking people. Just kidding 😉

I wanted to have a classic wedding related look for my photos so I choose this ivory white etui dress I got from the H&M sale section some time ago. The shoes I am wearing are my actual wedding shoes (read more about my choice here). I paired them with the dress cause they matched perfectly and I also have to break them in by time.

Florian was wearing a black dinner jacket from H&M and a matching button down to my dress from Olymp. We swear by their button downs. They are hands down the best you could get. Affordable, great quality and such a range to choose from. The rest was kept quite simple. Nice black shoes and pair of of dark denim jeans. Such a handsome hubby to be.

isn´t it great that sometimes even basic pieces can be comfortable and even fashionable? It definitely is.

Mules had their comeback last summer but I think they are going to have their high this Spring/Summer. From introducing a new trend until people are fond of it and are going to wear it time flies by but if you have really cool pieces they last more than one season.

I got this pair of silver mules from Tom Tailor and not only are they super cool and en vogue they totally remind me of a high class designer with the horsebit-detail across the front and the shape. 
I paired it with a totally casual and comfortable but not boring look. Got this pair of cropped raw hem jeans in the mail a few weeks ago and it is finally warm enough to wear them.

The cardigan is from the Zara special price section and available in five more colors. Sometimes a basic staple piece can also make an outfit look special.
The lace top I am wearing in this post is from an Italian market at Lago di Garda. A white shirt combined to an all blue look leaves such a fresh touch.

Summer fashion trends with Zaful…

Hi guys,

since we are heading to beautiful Lake Garda for our summer vacation in June I am am browsing up and down through the web to find cute pieces and great fashion trends at an affordable price point.

For today´s post I am teaming up with Zaful to share my top 3 summer fashion trends with you.


#1 – yellow
Despite the fact that ultra violet is the color of the year 2018 I really love yellow in the summer. It is such a happy color and immidiately lifts your mood so why not getting a midi dress like the floral slit smocked off shoulder midi dress in this gorgeous hue. This yellow beauty is a dreamy summer dress you can wear at the beach or exploring a city or dress it up for dinner since the material is so light and airy. It has a subtle side slit which makes it even more interesting. The flower print on the yellow is just adorable and the best (at least for me) is that you can wear it off the shoulder. 

#2 – jumpsuit
Jumpsuits are a great alternative to wearing a dress. If you are not comfortable or like wearing dresses try a jumpsuit. They are super chic and can also be worn on so many ocassions. The one I picked would is the slit wide leg stripes floral jumpsuit and would be perfect for a dinner at the beach or for sitting outside a fancy bar enjoying an Aperol Spritz and watching people pass by. Stripes will never go out of style trust me on that so you possibly can´t go wrong on this piece. The back is terrific and I don´t mind that there where added a few flowers to the print either.

#3 – polka dots
Although I am a huge print lover over here I have two or three I am totally adoring and wearing over any other and polka dots are one them. I have never met a polka dot I didn´t like so I got them all. This polka dot cami summer dress (way to short for a dress but perfect lenght as a camisole) is super cute and be dressed in so many ways. You could wear it with a denim skirt and wedges throughout the day or you could wear it with with palazzo pants and heels at night. There is restriction for this print and it is super versatile. Also if you aren´t a fan of red it is available in black and blue too.
