it has been a while since I really started on mixing different patterns and I have to say I got really comfortable with it. Now it is not a problem for me to find out which ones match. 

Taking colors from the same family is also a huge game changer cause the different patterns are enough mixing up the look. A bunch of different colors too will make it look really akward. Adding a bold lip is enough to get some more color into the look.

The outift was taken at the Schönbrunn castle in Vienna. The area was huge and in fact it was so cold and there weren´t many people around so that we could shoot at this beautiful spot with no one else in the background.

The cardigan is from H&M and a little old but I loved ever since I got it. One of the fashion rules is saying that black and brown don´t match or shouldn´t be combind together but I do love them together so ditched this. 

To add some more color I added a faux fur leopard print scarf to the look and also a pair of brown boots and my beloved Michael Kors shopper.

The lip stain I am wearing is MAC and the color is called „stay matte with me“. Also got this in Vienna for my birthday and I loved the color ever since. I am wearing it up to three times a week. So this product really got me hooked.

Since we had a day full of appointments yesterday – we decided on a wedding cake and I found my dream wedding dress – we didn´t do anythig big today. Just staying around the house and cooking and baking.

Hi guys,

I hadn´t been this much in love with sweaters since this Winter. I always thought they looked kind of bulky and you couldn´t style them right but I was so wrong. In fact I think there has never been such a variety on different colors and styles than nowadays. So for today´s post I have teamed up with Zaful to share one casual but oh so chic look with you.
I decided to go with the drop shoulder longline chunky sweater in my go-to color for Fall and Winter – burgundy. The sweater is super soft and I like that it is longer so you could easily wear it with leggins underneath. 
For this look I paired it with my favorite pair of denim. I got this last summer at the bonprix online shop and loved it ever since.
But let´s talk about these pair of patchwork booties. Aren´t they perfect. Block heels, suede and such beautiful colors to combine with. 
Speaking of combining – to bring in a third and lighter color I took the gray of the booties and paired my Givenchy Antigona dupe handbag from Fashion Drug to the whole look. The round up of the look was the navy blue cadett cap and the softest pom pom earrings I have ever seen.

I am turning back today with another work appropriate outfit – tried and approved by myself. Of course it also depends on how strict the rules at your office are.

This skirt has a classic a-line with a black and white pattern. I love the lenght and of course the style. A-line skirts have always been my favorite and I don´t want to miss them in my wardrobe ever. They have such a feminine vibe but that they are able to be twirled adds a girly touch to them.

So for today´s look I teamed up with DressLily to share this corporate look with you guys. 


It is the zippered high waisted checked skirt. The material is so stretchy and really comfortable and the skirt falls so pretty and also swings with every step. These are the kinds of skirts I adore. There are two small buttons on the back so you either wear it with a tucked in shirt or blouse like I did above or you could wear it with an oversized sweater. The possibilities are endles since you can combine so many colors to black and white.

after our coming back from our getaway to Vienna there where lots of pretty new things in my suitcase. So after I unpacked I started outfit planing with my new things. I you have been following me for a little now you might now how much I love velvet. Doesn´t matter which piece it is I just love it. 
I got this velvet moto jacket from the sale rack of Forever21. It has this gorgeous dusty rose shade and it is so soft. The style makes it a pretty cool piece. I decided to wear it with a dress and otk boots since a pair of pants just didn´t do its justice. 

They got lots of things left but only some rare treasures and this was one it. I am still totally into velvet. I also wanted a velvet dress for Christmas too but I had so many other option I wanted to wear so there literally wasn´t an ocassion left. 

Anther beautiful velvet piece it this bag. What do you think? I totally might order this one….
