in less than a week is Christmas!!!! Can you believe it!! I am so excited and in full holiday bliss. So I am sharing another holiday look on Madame Schischi today. I am a sucker for anything read which you might have recognized by now (not only during Christmas time) but when you are in doubt wear red. Works year round. 
But for the holidays it had to be a little more glam and guys as I found this excellent red sequin wrap skirt a few weeks ago at the H&M online store I couldn´t be happier. It really is a stunner with its dark red colored sequins and I adore all things sequins and for the price for under 25 it is the perfect addition for your holiday wardrobe. I have worn this skirt already to our Holiday Party but it would also make a great statement for NYE. 

I added a soft and cozy turtleneck and a boyfriend blazer to the skirt. The satin bow clutch and the sparkly pumps added some chic to the fancy skirt. 

There is another great piece for the holidays on Thursday and our annual Christmas table scape is up on the blog tomorrow. Be sure to check back is is going to be a lot more christmassy.

the Christmas vibes are still going strong over here. From all of the Christmas tradtitions adding a super cute and comfortable pajama became our favorite.
Somehow it makes the waiting for Christmas more bearable. Watching Christmas movies in your Christmas pj´s seems so cozy and festive at once. 
These where our second pair (bought our frist ones last year) and overall I wanted matching ones but we couldn´t get to an agreement so I got the plaid pants with a matching longsleeve for Florian and the two piece set with little reindeers and hearts on for myself. I also found a supersoft Christmas pullover for Chloe. Isn´t the little stitched snowflake the cutest?!
If you try to start on a new tradtition this one might be one of the easiest and one which brings lots of joy. Another one would be watching your favorite movies together or buying a new ornament every year so you have quite the collection after a few years.

today´s gift guide has been the worst for me. If you ask me about what to gift the men in my live at first there is nothing which comes to my mind. They never know what they want when you ask and they never tell if they see/saw anything they like. So this always requires my full concentration and fantasy.

But I have found a few pieces I really like and I may have or have not ordered some for my man. Feel free to add some gifts in the comments below as there are pieces I could mention too.

I know that Christmas time puts a lot of pressure on each and every one of us. There is the decoration we have to set up, gifts we need to find, there are family or holiday parties to host and menues to plan and don´t forget to send out the Christmas cards in time!!
 Thinking of all these different things might be overwhelming at first but you have to tackle it piece by piece and for the time in between I have 4 tips/activites to lower your stress levels and give you the possibilitiy to really enjoy the most wonderful time of the year.

Grab a cup of hot cocoa, head to your sofa and turn on Netflix. They have so many Christmas movies on their channel. You will get in the festive mood believe me and it is also nice to cuddle up while it´s cold outside.
My favorites are:

Be sure to create your own and unique Christmas playslist. Listening to your favorite Christmas songs whenever you like really is a nice change to the normal radio (in my opinion they chat to much and always play the same songs). You can listen to your playlist while driving in the car, wrapping presents or cooking and cleaning at home.

Bake the Christmas cookies YOU love the most. As a woman we always try to please others and care about others more than about ourself. That´s just how it works but sometimes there is something you have to do for your own especially in stressful times. Search the recipe you love the most and start baking and if these are some your family members or room mates don´t like – good for you, so there is even more left.
Here is my favorite recipe. They are called snowflake cookies and super delicious.

Visit Christmas markets
The Christmas markets are everywhere these days so it is nice to spend an afternoon or an evening strolling around. Having some punch and some delicious food. Maybe you can find a last minute gift at the booths with all the pretty handmade things like wooden figurines or handcolored candles. 


It is good to unwind before the big day hits. 


We are going to visit a Christmas market on Sunday and I am also going to bake my favorite Christmas cookies tomorrow listening to my Christmas playlist.
