Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
if you are following me for a longer time now, you might have recognized that I am drawn to red hues. Whether it is a bold and bright red shade or a deep burgundy hue I just love it. A bright red lipstick is the color I wear the most and I own the most (small lipstick problem – whoopsie). And this fall not only burgundy is huge also a christmassy red is totally en vogue and I couldn´t be happier.
But how to wear the trend. You can go all in by wearing a red dress or a red coat or red pants or you start a little more restrained and add a red bag or a red belt or just a red lip and for the brave ones under us you can wear red head to toe like Julia from Gal meets Glam (view the look here).

You might want to add some red pieces to your wardrobe cause red is going to stay for at least a half year cause after fall, winter is coming and who doesn´t love red for Christmas??!!

I opted for a red coat for this look. The creme pullover and the navy pencil skirt needed some spice so I added a plaid wool scarf with a blue, green and red pattern and this beautiful red coat. Unfortunately this is only suitable for fall cause it isn´t really warm and it doesn´t close so well. Only has hooks but I am never closing my jackets so I am fine with that.

I hope you had a nice weekend. Mine happended pretty much indoors cause it was raining cats and dogs and was just awful so I started on decorating for Christmas and played some Christmas music in the backgroun which really lifted my mood.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Hi guys,

Finally posted this (I wanted to post this about two weeks ago but there where so many widgets to make and I just didn´t have enough time) We took several outfits pictures throughout the year which I never posted because I just liked a few pix or there was just no day/time left to post it.

So I am sharing all the outfits I never did with you, cause it would be such a pitty to just delete them.

All the products which are still available are in the widgets and if not I linked very similar items so you can rebuild the outfit if you like. All on a budget of course.

After work I am heading straigt home today cause I need to pack. I wanted to shoot two outfits tomorrow and we have to get Florian´s car and visit his parents before we go on our trip and I also wanted to stop by at the mall to get some Christmas stuff. Am I to early – maybe it is just me going slightly Christmas crazy!!!

Thanks for stopping by and #tgif

Take care. See you tomorrow.

Fashion trend – how to combine velvet pieces to your daily wardrobe….

t-shirt New Look via Asos another one here / skirt H&M on sale!! / heels Zara old similar here and here / bag Carpisa sold out similar here / shoulder strap Hallhuber / sunnies H&M on sale!! / cardigan manguun last season similar here and here

….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
since I only got one piece made of velvet last year (a beautiful gold studded blazer jacket) I am totally hopping on this fashion train for this year. I always thought that I wouldn´t like this kind of material at all but it turned out that I really love it. I am almost a little sad that I didn´t look around which pieces shops sold last year. And I definitely want a pair of burgundy velvet boots too for upcoming fall and winter. As far I have a pair of grey velvet ankle booties, a navy camera bag and this pretty rose t-shirt from New Look via Asos.
I combined the velvet t-shirt with a high-waist skirt I recently got from the H&M sale section. Can you believe it was under 15!!! The overlong cardigan is from last season but I still love it. It is so comfortable to throw over a shirt on coulder days or to just wear it at home to cuddle up on the sofa. The heels are one of my favorite pair and about 6 years old but they are so great. I got them from the Zara store in London.
And how beautiful is this shoulder strap?? I got it from the Hallhuber store but it is available online too. The flower are so detailed and the colors are perfect for fall.

I am sharing some more pieces in the widget below I have an eye on. Maybe a velvet dress for Christmas or two!!!

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Casual Saturday # 15….

…..

Hi guys,

it has been quite a while since our last Casual Saturday post (about + 6 weeks). I just had so much content I wanted to post until the end of summer and beginning of fall but we are back on our Saturday chat today.

Eating:
We had been to our favorite restaurant two weeks ago and although I am always eating the same I still love it. Baby octopus with lots of vegetables and such a tasty sauce with garlic.
I started making pumpkin pies weeks ago and turned out so delicious I already made it twice. The pumpkin spice cake with cinnamon bourbon buttercream frosting from Mara from M Loves M. I found this recipe while browsing through her food section. Believe me you won´t be disappointed at all.

Shopping:

The first purchase I have to point out is this bag I got from Mango I ordered two weeks ago. The Van Mil bag and I love it not only because it looks a little like a high class designer bag. I wanted to have a bigger crossbody bag with a zipper and a flap (so I can double close it) for our upcoming trip so that nothing can fall out or no one can get in to quick. Only available online.

Off course there are some fall items I have purchased for our living room and kitchen but I am posting my fall decoration next week.

I finally got two pairs of boots I wanted for such a long time. A pair of hazeelnut colored over the knee suede boots from Zign and a pair of navy blue Hunter boots. I love both of them although they are totally different.

The Hunter boots fit true to size and they are super comfortable also the rubber material is so soft. The hazelnut otk boots also fit true to size but they where to tight for my calfs so I had to send them back. So sad. Now the search has begun again. Maybe that is the downside of dancing too much. You have to many muscles in your calfs.

Another thing I got is an embroidered top from Dorothy Perkins.

So what can I say about the embroidered top. Embroidery check. Ruffle sleeves check. Insert heat emoji here 🙂

And the last one for today is this beautiful make-up case for travelling from River Island. Ordered it via Asos. The pattern is gorgeous and it has the right size for all my make-up brushes and beauty products. It is hands down the most beautiful one I have ever got and also the most practical one. I am using this definitely as long as it lives.

TV/Book:
I am pretty ashamed that we are still watching PLL (but the end is in sight) but in fact we don´t watch much TV. Whether we are at the gym or I am reading and Florian is planing on some soccer tactics.

But there are great books out and I have read tons of book reviews and got a lot of books so I finally had to start on reading them all. I finished The Girl on the Train this week and now I am reading The Obsession from Nora Roberts. If I am through every book I might write a book review for a fall and winter reading list.

I am pretty happy that it is October all ready and we are heading to the black forest to see the fall foliage in its peek in two weeks. Also I am thinking a lot about Christmas these days. How I am gonna decorate and what I am gonna cook this year and also about some presents. Maybe too early?! What do you think ?
Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you
