I have always had a love / hate relationship with pattern mixing but for some patterns it just works and looks great. You probably have to check that out for yourself but from what I have tried gingham and stripes go great as well leopard print and stripes. No wonder to me as leopard print is almost considered as a neutral.
I have paired this leopard print sweater with this adorable striped blazer jacket I got from H&M same as the shirt. To stay in the color theme I went with all cognace brown and navy accessories.
H&M really has a great selection of pieces for Fall this season. Very dangerous if you know what I mean. 😉
Since the week is already hanging to the right side have you guys already made plans for the weekend? We only have one birthday and are probably going to stay in for the rest of time.
I am sharing a not so typical but still fall appropriate look in today´s post including a pair of jeans and sneakers. I have got this pair of leopard print platform sneakers last year but didn´t come around to wear them. But this year seemed to be perfect chance. Maybe this is complete nonsense to you but I often get things I love but they need to be in my closet for sometime until the right moment and perfect outfit to pair them with comes along. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Anyways, let´s talk about the look. Cognac brown is still a huge color for Fall and Winter and it should not be missed in anyones closet. The variety of colors it can be paired with is just unbeatable. For this look I went with black and white and a pair of medium denim.
Pairing different patterns in one look might sound intimidating at first but for some prints it works fine to be paired together like leopard print and stripes.
I do have so much Fall stuff planned for you guys in the next weeks. Going to share the perfect table decor for Fall next week and the first of two make-up tutorials is coming along your way this way plus a lot of Fall inspired outfits.
Have a look at yesterday´s post for all the affordable Fall fashion inspo.
As always thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
it finally is here. My first pre-fall outfit post. I know some of you might roll their eyes cause they can not get enough of summer and don´t want the hot days to fade – my mum included – but I don´t care for them anymore, I finally want the cooler temps. I want to stop sweating.
This is probably one of my most casual looks. I just wore a denim skirt and t-shirt. To spice it up a little I added a slim black belt and a felt hat. By adding accessories you can totally turn your look a 180° if you want to. You can go super casual or super chic by only adding a few pieces of accessories.
To keep the look simple I went with nude accessories cause they complemented the black ones the best.
I am super excited to share all the fall looks I have in store with you. Stay tuned. More is already on the way.
Still obsessing over stripes on everything. Stripes are probably my most worn pattern ever. It doesn´t matter if summer or winter it just works great and I love it.
So how to style it…
I got this dress on Lake Garda and have worn it a ton since. A dress is just so easy to wear, just throw it on and you are dressed. Super simple. So what´s better for a busy day ahead than wearing a dress. For cooler mornings or nights you can put on a jean jacket like I did above. It adds such a casual vibe to the look. I decided to go with white but blue would have been also really nice.
To complement the look of the striped dress I added a pair of wedges and the cutest little navy bag with a wicker bottom.
And one thing you shouldn´t be missing is a great red lip color. Mine is from Maybelline and you can read more about their lip crayons in this post.
Do you have any plans for the week. I have been staying at home almost every day cause I am feeling under the weather it is insane.
