which is your color for Summer? Definitely a vibrant one like pink or how about yellow!! Yellow is the sunny, funny and happy color and I personally like yellow a lot and have many many pieces in my closet that range from pastel yellow to a dark mustard color.

How to style a yellow dress

So in terms of styling a yellow dress there are many colors that match yellow pretty good. Maybe unexpected colors like pink and blush too but that is what makes color blocking so interesting. 

For this look I picked up the olive green from the pattern of the dress and added my accessories in the same color.

The dress itself is beautiful and the perfect Summer dress. It has a trendy square neck, ballon sleeves and ruffles at the bottom plus it´s very breathable.

The weather is still pretty crappy here. Do you have Summer weather where you live at the moment?

wedding weekend is over and all that´s left is tons of stuff to unpack. Wow did we pack a lot with a toddler. In fact I packed everything we use at home and more so the amount of stuff to unpack for two days is unreal.

What is the first thought that comes to your mind when you see this dress ? Mine was that it would look amazing for a vacation in Greek. When I think of Greek I think of the blue and white houses in Santorini and the deep blue sea in Mykonons so this dress perfectly fits the bill.

How to style the Greek vacation dress

In fact there isn´t much this dress needs. A pair of cute sandals and a handbag in the size you need is enough. The vibrant blue of the dress speaks for itself. If you want to go all out I would add a pair of statement earrings and a cute hair clip to tame that mane. 

I went with a pair of block heeled sandals to wear it to dinner but a pair of lace-up flats will make you look and feel like a greek godess. 

Blue and white in general is an amazing Summer color combination that never gets old.

we have an exciting weekend ahead of us. Birthday party on Friday, big wedding on Saturday and some Summer activities on Sunday. Woah looks like we need a break after the weekend. I am a little anxious though with being in a big crowd on Saturday. After all we have been socially distancing for the last one and a half year, but we´ll see how it turns out.

How to style a pinafore dress

Styling a pinafore dress totally depends on how hot it is in my opinion. If it´s way above thirty degrees wearing a cute bralette underneath would be enough. If the temps are in the 20´s adding a t-shirt with an all over print like I did in the photos above and for Fall it would be super cute with a turtleneck and a patterned pair of tights.

Wearing a cute blouse underneath with a pair of wedges would also make a great date night look, don´t you think?!

How amazing is jersey maxi dress? It is probably one of the most comfortable things. Comfy like a nightgown but a lot prettier. I definitely love a maxi dress year round but it isn´t as easy and breezy as in Summer season.

How to style a jersey maxi dress

A maxi dress is a pretty easy piece to style for Summer. In fact you would only have to throw on a pair of shoes and grab a bag and go. There is no shaving neccessary cause no one sees your legs 😉

I decided to go with a non-specific look that would work for many different ocassion. Since my handbag was gray I went with lots of silver touches like in my jewelry and my sandals. Adding a blazer to an outfit always elevates the look but it will be to hot for a regular one so make sure to wear linen or seersucker in the Summer months.

There is so much use to get out of a plain colroed maxi dress. You can style it for many different ocassions cause Summer is still long and there is plenty to do this year.
