I have started a major closet clean out last week and am still not done. I have gone through all my blazer jacket, vests, capes, ponchos and blouses, button downs. This Friday I planned on going through all my cardigans and pullovers and maybe also my tights. 
In the process of oranizing I have found this beautiful emerald green polka dot blouse I loved to wear. The reach jewel tones make the perfect addition to your fall wardrobe and I thought why not wear it today. 
I paired it with blazer in the exact same green color and a black fishnet midi skirt I have got from the H&M Winter sale last year. The heels also match perfectly. This really had been an outfit right up my alley for attending a dinner party. 
The other jewel tones I adore are a deep amber color, a hint of sapphire and of course my all time favorite a vibrant ruby. These dark but rich shades have their big entrance in the cold and dark months of the year. Maybe that is what creates such a mystique around these colors and also combining it with black makes them really pop out.

how adorable is this sunflower field in the background ?? So gorgeous.

From time to time I really love a fashionable but comfortable look and this really is one with its oversized embroidered cardigan and its wide leg pants. Lots of fabric and lots of space. Comfortable all day. 


The pants are really wide leged and super high waisted which I totally love. It flatters the figure and creates a slimmer silhouette. Adding heels also isn´t too bad (I have to cause I am so small but maybe you could wear a pair of pointed flats to it). 

 I paired it with a bunch of my favorite pinkish hues going from a rosewood to a light berry shade. Since bakerboy caps are still super on trend (I have a whole bunch of different colors) I added one in blush. 


Do you love combining trends in one look like I did here? The wide leg pants, embroidered cardigan and bakerboy hat.

I am already off work to get the rest of my wedding stuff done. Although my planning is really great there are some little things left to do.

I had a facial yesterday and my nail appointment and hair cut today and need to get some things done  tomorrow. 

The outfit above is from a cold and rainy summer day but it would also work perfectly for late summer days and transitioning into fall. I am all about the graphic print shirts these days. I recently got this one in red and this one I love a lot (the material is super soft, but they are both running large so go one size down for a tighter fit). They are so easy and versatile to wear and style and there are thousands of motives to choose from.

A thin coat is never a wrong idea. It´s ideal for colder or rainy days and immediately improves every casual t-shirt/jeans outfit.


For some fun I added a captains cap (or baker boy hat or fiddler cap) and a belt with a big pearl embellished buckle.


Do you have any favorites for making a simple outift chicer? I would love to know.

 velvet is one of my most favorite materials and I am so happy it came back in fashion last year. I am totally drawn to each and every piece which makes fall and winter even more comfortable. The weather is really fall-ish over here. Fog and cold clear air in the mornings and evenings which makes we want to light as many candles as possible and cuddle up on the sofa all the time (already stocked up on candles and thinking about pumpkin recipes I want to bake – not crazy, just going with the flow).

I have worn this beautiful velvet kimono once in the summer but the material is just too thick to enjoy it but it is going to be perfect for the cooler temps now. I think it is also great to wear with longsleeve and belted to set some focus on the waist. Gotta try that tomorrow.
Also a Kimono with a colorful flower print can is so versatile. You can pair it with another color from the pattern the next time you wear it and you get a total different look out of it. 
Are you also already transitioning your pieces from summer into fall?
