since I am totally into the midi skirt trend (happens again every Summer) I am sharing this royal blue beauty with you all today.


Not only is a midi skirt the perfect addition to your wardrobe. It also creates a flattering figure and brings such a feminine touch with it.

I paired mine with a simple white blouse and also kept the accessories white. You could easily take all nude or cognac brown accessories but I opted for white. 

The blouse is from H&M and always available in their basic section. They offer several colors and also have some fashionable prints but white, baby blue and blush is always there.

Wedges with a cork heel are way more comfortable in my opinion so if they are available I always go for this style. I got mine from New Look but since the price is great they sold out fast but I have listed a similar pair I also tried on.

So I might have proven that gingham print and midi skirts pair really well together.

Tomorrow is my last day of work and then there is a long weekend ahead until the new work week starts. But in fact I have a lot to do. Gardening, baking, shooting and so much more.

until a few weeks ago the lilac was in its full bloom. Unfortunately it already starts to fade but aren´t the different shades of purple within the most beautiful colors nature creates (can´t wait for peony season).

Also the Queen of England has worn a green dress with a matching hat and pops of purple. 

A pair of comfortable denim and a blouse is a go-to look for Spring. For my look I opted for similar hues and I think it worked really well.

The blouse is a sale find from H&M and it immediately caught my eye. I first wanted to pair it with a pair of dark blue denim and brown accessories but that wouldn´t have done it justice so I went with the same color family.

Stay tuned for tomorrows recipe. Surprisingly easy but absolutely delicious.
I am busy planing our BBQ for tomorrow and I also have to get a bunch of groceries later so this is going to be my task for the evening. I also have to get the rest of the stuff for the table scape and some flowers.

you all know how much I am a lover of red. And even in Spring and Summer times I like reaching back to my favorite color. The hue might be a little lighter than around Christmas time but I crave it. 

You might think I own more pink lipsticks than red but it is just the opposite and I think a few days ago I found the perfect red lip color for myself. MAC Red. It is their signature shade and I adore it (not the one picutred above but looks will follow soon). But let´s move on to the outift here.

The silk scarf trend is going strong and I really love wearing them. It suddenly adds flair to an outfit. Whether you are wearing it as a headband or tied around your neck or just casual around your shoulders.

Denim has always been an important material to me and since I am more on the skirt/dress side a denim skirt is a must have. I really love the one I am wearing above and create and outfit including it once or twice a week.

Bell sleeves or statement sleeves is one of my favorite trend since last year and I am pretty happy that there are still many pieces around. I just can´t say no to a pair of oversized sleeves but let´s be honest – they aren´t as practical as good as they look.

The silk scarf is from Conpibel and a real favorite of mine. It is in my closet for about 8 years now and I still love to create different looks with it. It is a soft and silky material and really pairs so well with different looks. I think it is the color combination of red, white and blue which makes it unbeatable.

Are you guys as happy as I am that it is Wednesday already ??
I can´t wait for Friday to come. Although the week is quite short it has its pitfalls.

doesn´t it feel like a Monday today?! I have to admit I first was a little confused if I had to get up but yes I had to. Hope you had a few nice and warm day. 
I have worn this look about two weeks ago and in fact it was just a staying at home on a Friday look but I really loved how it turned out so we shot it the next day. I have always been a huge lover of all blue hues so this look was no exception.
The coat with the scalloped hem is one of the prettiest I own. Also love that it is oversized which makes it really comfortable to wear.
A blue and white color theme always looks so fresh and works perfectly for year round. You could also switch it with a white top and blue pants and it would still forefill its purpose.
I am checking back with more Spring inspired looks tomorrow and on Thursday so be sure to have a look. Also have you guys seen my guest room reveal. It felt like this room has been in the make-over for years!!
