Chambray Dress styled for Spring…

it is still the worst weather over here. Rain, snow , sun, storm changing about every 20 minutes. Super annoying but we used the time to get some things done at home. The nursery updated, the bathroom finally ready and also changed some light fixtures. Infos are coming very soon.

So since I am craving Spring weather very bad I have started to wear lighter fabrics as well as brighter and lighter colors. A chambray dress is always a great piece to style and it is super versatile too. I went with a cute creme colored cardigan and a pair of comfortable lug boots plus cute polka dot tights cause it was a pretty chill day.

A cute coat or a shacket would also look really great with the chambray dress and a pair of sneakers or booties. Also the a-line shape of the dress is the perfect style for my pregnant self. Only 24 weeks now but showing so much these days which is crazy. The second time around everything starts earlier.

Oh boy this has been such a long week. If you could feel how tired I am it would surely make you want to go to bed as well.

We had quite the amount of appointments and I also prepared our bathroom and nursery for some painting and changes we are doing tomorow so that was a handful as well and my 24 weeks pregnant self can not accomplish as much as I am used too.

Anyways another week has gone by and I have also been fully dressed and ready. Still can´t believe it hwo long this has been going on for now.

Have you had a nice Valentine´s Day ? We had been out for a lovely dinner for the first time in about four months or so. Totally forgot how great it is to have a warm dinner and everything to myself. Also that I can finish a conversation with my husband.

This Cardigans Screams Spring…

I am really not that much into Spring but this cardigan is so stinkin´ cute I just couldn´t resist it. Doesn´t it make for the perfect outerwear for the upcoming warmer months.

So I went with a super casual style. A pair of denim (H&M Maternity) and a t-shirt underneath. It was a pretty chill day still but this would be a great outfit for March or / and April.

The cardigan is from SheIn and I know that for many of you it is a hit or miss site but I think they have evolved a lot and are still my number one site for special and rare pieces you won´t find in stores.

My style has gotten a lot more casual since I am 6 months pregnant and still chasing behind a very busy toddler so on many days I reach for a pair of sneakers. The pair I am wearing here is a lot of fun. It is super fun with all the hues of pink and blush and also comes with neon orange shoelaces.

Valentine´s Day is right around the corner so I hope you all have some nice things planned. We are going out for dinner. Haven´t been alone for a date night in a long time.

Recently my outfits are getting lighter in material as well in color cause I am so happy for Spring to arrive. Not my favorite season but I am definitely happy for the weather to get better and the temperatures to rise a little.

Since my bump is pretty big around this time I definitely enjoy wearing dresses theses days. They are loose around the bump. My little girl in there does not like too tight clothing. She will start kicking immediately which in my opinion is the cutest thing.

Also isn´t it amazing I made another entire week of getting dress in other pieces than sweats !!! I mean I definitely have earned som applause 🙂
