we had a great weekend filled with lots of good food and laughter. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary on Saturday and on Friday we went over to our friends house for homemade pizza from a stone oven. So on today´s agenda there is lot´s of no carb food and getting on track of my fitness routine again but isn´t it all about good company and good food these days where social distancing is our main thing to do?!
Since the rule of no white denim after Labor Day has been revoked for many years now and the weather has been so great I totally loved to style my white pair of pants for the gorgeous pre-fall weather.
For the top half of my body I went with this cute graphic tee I got from SheIn. It says Arizona and has a space ship and the solar system on it. The denim jacket I combined with the look has the cutest leopard print on it which ups the style game.
As far as accessorizing goes I went with all black. I have worn my black Chloe dupe handbag and my favorite pair of pointy toe patent heels.
You know I love love love my high heels and if there was one kind of shoe I had to wear for the rest of my life it would definitely be a pointy toe high heel but sometimes I am going out of my comfort zone plus I want to try new things.
I have seen a ton of bloggers wear sneakers and midi skirts and I somehow always loved the vibe of that look. It looks so put together but casual all in one.
A pair of sneakers isn´t my normal choice of footwear but from time to time and especially for the warmer months Ilike to wear them ocassionally.
For this look I went with this flowy leopard print midi skirt and a Coca-Cola Graphic tee. I wanted to break the style a little by adding a tee to a skirt and for the coolness factor I went with a leather jacket. How amazingly laid back does the finished outfit look?! It is much cooler than I usually wear but looks great as well.
I have been working on lots of Fall inspo which hasn´t been the easiest cause the temperatures are still high and I am sweating for most of the pictures but I will power through until it finally get´s colder.
Check back tomorrow for some Fall inspired home decor. I have found the most beautiful pumpkins at TKMaxx (sneak peek on my Instagram today).
what a day this has been. I can not remember what I did the whole day (besides visit my granny) and how it is already night time. We made burger today and went on a walk to get some diet coke. Super random things happening over here but we have planned some interesting day trips for the weekend.
The weather is supposed to stay sunny but it isn´t as hot as it was before so we are totally having Indian Summer weather over here which allows me to start wearing some of my Fall pieces not only for pictures but also for a full day of errands.
I got this adorable flower print midi dress at a sale in the middle of the Summer and immediately thought this would be an awesome dress for Fall. The color and the cut, plus it has long sleeves, are the perfect addition to this dreamy dress.
To add some edge and a definite Fall vibe to the look I went with a hazelnut colored moto jacket. It was quite the sunny day so I am wearing a pair of sandals but booties or pumps would work great too.
As for accessories – gold jewelry looks great with almost every Fall appropriate hue so that would always be my first choice.
I have a nail appointment tomorrow and I can´t wait for my nails to get painted in the prettiest orange for Fall. So happy my favorite season is finally here.
and happy Monday might I add. I just came back from a line dance lesson and now I am sitting in bed writting to you. Emilia is right beside me and playing with some toys. The weather was great on the weekend so I have taken a ton of Fall outfit inspo pics. I can´t wait to share them with you. Going to share lot´s of ideas on styling this Fall.
Denim on denim has been a huge trend for quite some time and if you break it down in to different colors it doesn´t look like a uniform. I went with black and classic blue here. The black culotte – a more feminine cut for a pair of pants is loosened up by a Rolling Stones band tee covered with a blue denim shirt. I love denim shirts, I own a couple and I always enjoy wearing them whether over a dress, over a t-shirt or on its own.
Adding some red accessories adds a little sass to the look. By swatching out the wedges this can be easily worn for the nicer as well as the cooler Fall temps.
So for this week my ladies I have quite the mix of different topics for you so stay tuned.
