Happy early Friday,

(post contains affilaite links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I love pleated skirts. They have something so feminine and flowy to them and always look classy and chic. I have quite the collection and love adding new pieces.

The pretty piece in the picture above is from H&M from the Richard Allen x H&M collection (I also have the dress) and it is THE skirt for day and night.

So for this look I wanted to dress it down as I was at home for the day with our baby girl and only went for a walk later where we took the photos (I am so happy when we can go out gain cause at some point I need a location change for my photos).

To dress down the skirt I went with a white graphic tee (I have been loving these lately whether they have a print, a writing or a band across) and a pair of flat sandals. Pairing a graphic tee with a skirt (whether it is a pleated skirt, a leopard skirt or a leather skirt) immediately dresses it down and totally adds that coolness factor to chic pieces.

It is a holiday over here tomorrow so if our mini boss allows it I am going to shoot some beauty and hair posts to have ready for you next week. As we spend so much time at home this is the perfect time to practice your hair and make-up skills when you are tired of watching Netflix.

FYI: I prepared this blog post before our baby girl arrived so there would still be fresh content on the blog while I am taking a break from blogging. That’s why you’ll still see me pregnant or referencing my pregnancy in some upcoming blog posts!

Welcome to another real life styles blog post. I am sharing some of my still pregnant looks plus some of the outfits I have worn after baby. There is no place to go these days other than grocery shopping. Some days I just need to dress up to keep my sanity. One can only have a few pj days in a row so I dress up for my living room but that is allright.

How are you guys still holding up? Did you start dressing up for your home or did you already give up?

Spring makes everything new, not only in nature but also in fashion. One big change you can see turning Spring are the colors changing. Colors go lighter like pastels or brighter like neons whatever the trend is going to be.

I for myself are more of a pattern girl than a plain color fan so something I am wearing mostly has a print or pattern like the striped blouse in this post.

The light blue stripes are super springy and paired with a blue pair of jeans they totally pop. Also a white pair would be really nice but I did not have one being pregnant cause it was mostly in Winter and I am not a huge fan of white denim in Winter.

What color to add to not loose the focus on the baby blue ? I went with a light creme color but you could also go with white or brown or even a darker blue.

This look works great for Spring whether you are pregnant or not. The blouse also is a non maternity piece. I just sized up one size and since it had kind of an oversized fit to it, it still worked with a nine months bump.

Happy Monday you guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Markennennung/Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate LInks-sponsored)

I know we are in the middle of the cold and dark Winter and about 8 weeks away from Spring but I am so looking forward to wearing lighter colors and fabrics and of course the most important thing holding our sweet little baby in my arms.

Since it is still some time until then I am stocking up on pieces I can wear in the warmer temperatures and plan outfits with them. Always the part I love most about a new season.

The staple piece for today´s look is of course this darling striped cardigan I got sent over from IVDIH. They are a small online shop with really cute and affordable pieces. The cardigan section is my favorite and it was definitely hard to pick cause I loved them all.

In the end I decided to go with the multicolor striped cardigan including all the beautiful Spring pastels.

The whole look totally screamed Spring and I was feeling so light and happy and then I stepped outside and it was freezing. So I guess I still have to wait a few more weeks until it is weather appropriate wear but at least I have some major Spring inspo for you.

Hope you had a nice Monday. See you tomorrow.
