Stripes are a timeless classic and an evergreen in fashion. I have loved and worn them for what it feels like forever and they are still a pattern I long for.
A blue and white stripe pattern always has such a nautical feel to it. Just like I am to board a sailboat.
I have styled this look pretty casusal with a denim jacket and white sneakers cause I needed it to be functinal while chasing the kids around. If you like color like me add a pop of red with lipstick, earrings or a handbag.
I love colorful outfits but somtimes you can not beat the charme of a black and white look. It is always classic, timeless and fits evey ocassion. No matter where you are a black and white look if perfect.
Spring is finally here and I can wear lots of the things I have been holding back from my closet which includes white pants, open back shoes and straw handbags.
Recently I am very into the Western trend (a home decor post on this topic is also in the making) and I love styling several pieces alone or together. It is a fine line between looking great and overdoing it so I wanted to break down this look for you guys.
Bootcut denim is the perfect pair of pants to go with a Western look. I mean the description is already in the name – you get what I mean right?!
Another thing I definitely recommend to give your look that Western charme are cowboy boots. Mine are a tad old but amazon has dozens of different colors and heights. Also Asos has a huge variety on cowboy boots. You can probably get them almost everwhere. They look great with a pair of bootcut jeans but also with a pretty floral maxi dress or a denim skirt.
Lastly I would say adding a piece of leather makes it even better. This could be a leather shacket or like I did a leather jacket.
To tone it down I went with a white shirt and no jewelry at all. I think it is important to balance it out. I mean yes you could add a fringe handbag and the typical Western buckle belt but that would be too much. We still want to go to lunch in the city and not ropping cows on the farm.
Are you a fan of cowboy boots and bootcut denim ? I would love to know.
There is no prettier color for Spring than yellow. I look forward to all of the yellow flowers blooming around Easter every year. Yellow is so warm and fun and welcoming and just a light and bright color.
But I do not only love yellow out in the nature, I love it in my wardrobe as well. I probably have dozens of yellow pieces which reminds me of a #14daysofyellow challenge I wanted to start. Anyways let´s have a look at this cute everyday look.
Wide leg denim has never been this popular and I was on board from the beginning on. I never liked skinny jeans and tried to wear as many bootcut or flare jeans as possible and now wide leg pants.
The dark denim looked great in contrast with the yellow espadrilles and the yellow cute little backpack. A sweater might seem way to warm for Spring but this knit sweater was very light and thin.
