On Wednesdays we wear pink am I right?! Or at least we post about pink looks over here at Madame Schischi. I absolutely wanted to post this adorable look I have worn to a birthday party two weeks ago since it is so feminine and fresh. Would also be really pretty to wear to a bridal or baby shower as a guest.
I got this skirt on SheIn some time ago but you can also buy it on amazon. The print is available in many shops. I personally love an a-line midi skirt a lot cause it always looks chic and so nostalgic. Sometimes I think dresswise I should have lived in another era. I paired the flower midi skirt with a navy camisole I got during our vacation at Lake Garda and and a pink jacket. The pink of the jacket totally matches a hue of the skirt which always makes me so happy when things fit together.
The accessories are all kept in white to add a freshness to the look to make it look Spring appropriate. Skirt/shirt combinations are so great to wear especially when the temperatures start to rise. A jacket can be worn or thrown over your shoulder to keep you warm in the mornings or to protcet you from the wind (the winds are crazy over here these days).
The half of the week is already behind us so we are starting to plan our weekend over here. Do you have any fun plans yet? We are going to get a new video game and cuddle up on the sofa to play it. Also I have some blog work to do in terms of planning looks and shot some products and I am heading to the hardware store on Friday to buy some stuff I need to finally finalize our master bathroom. So stay tuned, the post is going to be up very soon.

are you also struggling with strange weather conditions? It is sunny at the moment and from my office window (were I am sitting in the sun in the mornings) it is quite warm but don´t get fooled by it, the nights are still freezing and going outside without a jacket – even if it´s only to the trash can – is practically impossible. And also if there are warmer conditions it ends in humid headache weather followed by a thunderstorm and rain. I have watched the forecast yesterday and it seems that the weekend it going to be amazing but I´d rather wait for it to see for myself.
Anyways enough wheather talk (what is it that people can talk hours about the weather?!) and let´s have a look at this cozy weekend outfit including a few trends but the biggest might be the oversized denim jacket. Also a trend which is going to stay for a long time. In my opinion a denim jacket is a timeless piece which has been on and off since the 80´s and probably longer in certain countries (looking at you Canada). As a normal denim jacket also creates a casual look but can also be dressed up you can be certain to have that laid back feeling wearing a oversized denim jacket.
And to prove that it isn´t a thing for pants only I paired mine with a buttoned midi dress. I got it from H&M the other week and it is such a super soft dress. I personally love all midi dresses. The more the merrier. It has a buttoned front I like very much and best part is that the buttons are sewn onto the dress so it only creates the illusion of being opened upfront. Perfect cause it means there are no sitting gaps.
To complete the look and to add some color I threw on this colorful silk scarf I got year ago but still love to wear as it improves a lot of my looks. The woven mules are super fun and so pretty in this greyish nude color. They are going to match a ton of look and I can´t wait to wear them more often.
As always thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

how did you spent Mother´s Day yesterday? I had my great-aunt and grandma over at my mom´s place and we had quite the blast chatting, eating cake and playing board games. In the evening Florian and I headed over to his mom and had dinner together. Overall it was a really nice Sunday and that coming from me means a lot because I really don´t like Sunday´s at all.
On another note – did you notice that you can find yellow pieces everywhere this year? Despite that the color of the year is living coral I think yellow has made its way into every store and I have to admit I am not mad about it. I personally love almost every shade of yellow and in my opinion yellow suits way more people than they might think of or even know.
I got this adorable knit cardigan in yellow a few weeks ago back in Hamburg at Galeria Kaufhof at have worn it a ton since. It is just such a “good mood” piece in this vibrant yellow hue. I paired it with lots of white and nudes to make it pop right away and I think it looked great. A perfect casual look. In fact it was my travel look to get back home from Hamburg and what can I say more than boy was this comfortable.
The crossbody bag I am wearing in the photos above is from Michael Kors and I got it from the Alsterhaus in Hamburg. Couldn´t find it online in this style but I found and all white one which is the same and another one with the brand print.
What do you think of yellow being more popular than the Pantone color of the year? Do you even care?
As always thanks for stopping by. Have a marvellous start into the new week.

are you ready for some Spring fashion today? As you might know I am a dress and skirt lover and if you are new – hello and welcome to my blog – you know now. I have all kinds of dresses and skirts and feel most happy by wearing them all day every day.
I do have some favorite stores I like to check up on new arrivals and also on sales but let´s talk about this adorable midi skirt I have found at H&M, one of my go-to spots. For all I know I never took blue to my prefered colors but to be honest I have a lot of blue clothes in my closet. From navy to baby blue there isn´t one hue to be missed. So I guess it was only naturally that I snagged this adorable midi skirt with its gorgeous paisley pattern and all the beautiful blues.
A midi skirt is a total basic for me as I love to wear them and also because they can be styled so differently. From casual to chic and from day to night. Fortunately they aren´t rare anymore and almost every store carries different styles as well. I paired it with a ribbed sweater in a caramel shade cause it matched the paisley on the midi skirt perfectly. To create a little more casual vibe I styled it with a denim jacket instead of a blazer jacket (how I had first planned it).
The look turned out to be one of my favorites and I am totally going to wear this look again or styled a little different throughout the season.
If you are in need of some last minute Mother´s Day gifts I am sharing a small gift guide tomorrow (featuring some products which are available on amazon prime).
As always thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
