Hi guys,
since the weather is a pretty mixture – it is cold and foggy in the mornings but it is warm and sunny in the afternoon – I am wearing a caridigan or a light jacket on the daily base. And also I am looking forward to fall so much I am still wearing sandals on the last days of warm weather.

I do like a black/grey and red/orange combo a lot. It is really nice contrast and I like wearing bold colors during fall and winter time to freshen up an outfit.

I got this wrap skirt last year (also have it in black) in this vibrant orange and I love it. It is high-waisted and since it is a wrap skirt it is so flattering for every body type. I paired it with a grey and black top with knotted shoulder straps and this beautiful flower pattern. I tucked it into the skirt to give the outfit more focus on the waist. I added a matching cardigan to the outfit since it was a little chilly in the morning and a pair of black peeptoe wedges. The highlight was the little handbag I love so much. It has such a ladylike shape. Could have been worn straight to “Breakfast at Tiffany´s”.

Hope you are all having a nice day. I am back at work today. Still have an aching toe and this might last a while.

I am looking forward to Friday already cause there is really nothing to do on the weekend. I just want to shoot some fall outfits I am loving recently for the blog and stay at home and do nothing.

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you.

Hi guys,

today I am sharing all the information of our quick and easy getaway. After not having a real summer vacation as we where on our trip in June already we decided to get away for two days somewhere nearby. So we picked Munich.

Munich is a huge city and so multiculturel. We started at the Olympic park which is located at the outer edge of the city and it is really nice. It is a incredible big park with a lake in the middle where you can do stand-up paddling, wakeboarding or rent a pedal boat. Around the lake are several buildings like a stadium for concerts and soccer games, a ice-rink and the Olympic tower. We decided to go up the tower to get a 360 degrees view of the city. And boy the view was amazing. As it was a bright and beautiful day we had such a perfect view in every direction. There is also a restaurant located on the tower so you can dine with forsesight :). The Olympic parc was built for the 1972 olympic summer games. Since then it is a place for recreation and tourists from other countries.

After walking through the park – there also a summer festival as we went with different food trucks and a small market with lots of stuff to buy – we went to the English Garden to have a look at the Chinese Tower.

The Chinese Tower is a 25 metres high tower completely made of wood. The tower was built in 1790 as a viewing plattform. It has been destroyed and rebuilt after the second world war and now isn´t open to public anymore.

From all the strolling around in the parks we got a little hungry and went into the city centre to get some coffee and a snack. Of course our coffee stop was Starbucks (just can´t help it, we don´t have one in Regensburg so I am stopping at each and everyone I can find). I had a coffee americano and the best cinamon roll I have ever had. And I got this coffe to-go mug I love so much. With lipsticks marks and hugs and kisses.

After our refreshment we took a look at all the sights in the city. We stopped at the town hall on the Marienplatz for the famous bell ringing happening every full hour.

Then we went up to the Stachus a famous place at the end of the pedestrian zone with fountains and restaurants and places to sit and watch people.

For dinner I had planed to go to the traditional Hofbräuhaus in Munich be we tended to go across the street into the Hard Rock Café Munich and that was a great decision. We had pulled pork burger and mac and cheese.

After dinner we finally went to the hotel. We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Munich City West for the night. This is a design hotel chain and you can find one in at least every city of Europe.

The room was pretty big and we had a small terrace which belonged to our room. There was also a small kitchen aisle hidden befind a wood wall. I can´t say anything about the breakfast cause we just grabbed a quick coffee and then checked out and went to the Chiemsee.

The Chiemsee is a lake nearby Munich (about an hour away). It is a pretty huge lake with a big castle in the middle.

We rented an electric boat and drove arround on the lake for about and hour. We popped some champagne and ate some ice cream chocolate. It was really pretty and the weather was just fine for this occasion.

Before finally heading home to Chloe we had pizza and a diet coke at a lake restaurant.

This really was a nice short trip and a great opportunity to get away for some time.

I think we might do this some more times throughout the year.

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you.

Look book – off-white pleated midi skirt (on sale) paired with black for an edgy vibe….

…..

Hi guys,

this look would totally work for places like the Cote D´Azur. The off-white pleated maxi skirt has just the right amount of drama for an Aperol Spritz at a beach location or a restaurant.

I always a little cautious with white skirts. I love them don´t get me wrong but with our climate I just don´t get that much use out of them (and I spill a lot so they are in my laundry room many times) but it came in really handy that this one was on major sale. And of course I had to have it cause it is pleated and that is what I like to wear most at the moment.

I paired it with a simple pair of black sling back peeptoes and a crossbody bag in black from Carpisa. The top has a snake skin print and it can be gahtered on the sides. You could easily wear all nude accessories to it too but I wanted to make the look a little edgier with the black and white contrats.

We had been on a birthday party yesterday but I was just exhausted. I was working the whole day, then I went to a party store to get the rest of the decoration for Monday, afterwards I went to the second half of Florian´s soccer game and then I finally got to the birthday but as it came out they where out of food so I just had a piece of cake for dinner. Wasn´t my first choice but I was just to hungry.

I am so happy it is Friday tomorrow. I am so sick of work and I really have lots of stuff going on at home.

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you.

…..

Hi guys,

today I am back with a red and white outfit I love so much for summer time. I don´t know what it is, maybe the fresh color combination or that I just love all shades of red but I keep falling for this hues all the time.

I got this dress from my mother cause she thought she was to old for such a short dress. The length works great on me but I am 5´5 and she is 5´7 and you know how much I love a flower pattern.

I took up the red shade from the dress and combined a matching cardigan and a matching lipstick to it. To calm down the oufit and set the focus on the dress I picked my Mario Valentino handbag in white and a pair of grey sandals. They seem to look pretty high but in fact they aren´t cause the plattform in the front is pretty thick.

My Ray Ban Aviator is a timeless classic for me. I am not wearing it all the time cause I also got the Wayfarer but I love to switch once in a while.

Guys I am so glad it is already Wednesday. The week is full of activities. It is a strange thing with our appointments. When we have some we got them all in one week and then there is nothing to do the following week. I don´t know why this happens all the time.

But as always thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you.
