Fashion trend – bandanas and how versatile they are….

Hi guys,

for every season there are new fashion trends and for summer it definitely is the bandana look. A bandana is such a versatile piece you won´t believe it. What do you think about this paisley printed bandana ?! Not only can it be worn like a neckerchief but what about a headband. I love heandbands – always have and always will. They can really turn a bad hair day into a good one. They are light for summer and the best part they are almost available in every color and with every pattern you could imagine. So since they are so easily to wear they are a real summer staple.

Another option you could use a bandana is to wrap around the handle of your handbag to give it an updated and fashionable look. I also got this flamingo print handkerchief and I love it. By following my blog you might know that I am obsessed with flamingo and pineapple pattern for summer.

Another one I love is this cactus handkerchief. Isn´t it cute. They are all from the Zaful online store. They also have such a variety on plaid scarfs for fall. Be sure to check these out too.

I am all about stripes, throughout the whole year but there is something about stripes and summer which brings such an easy and fashionable touch for these kinds of outfits. Summer and stripes make the perfect couple. 

I got this polo shirtdress from H&M. It has the typical piqueé fabric a polo shirt has and theses adorable blue and white stripes. A total classic and staple piece for my wardrobe. 

I paired it with a jeans jacket and and a pair of white espandrilles for a more casual look. 

What do you think about stripes? They have become a real closet staple in my eyes.

what do you think about this outfit ?? Isn´t is such an all American girl look with my Levi´s shirt, Converse sneakers and a Tommy Hilfiger shopper in red, white and blue. I loved wearing it cause it was super casual and comfy but with a modern and trendy twist.
Since this year big label prints are so en vogue – I think Gucci was the first brand who brought this look bag with their big and colorful label prints they showed at fashion week – almost every brand has at least one style with their brand name covering the front or the back. It is a nice change to the other prints they had with quotes or pictures. 
I ordered this Levi´s t-shirt cause I liked the dark red shade paired with a crisp white. I think this is really easy to wear (but size down one size as this runs pretty big).

To wear or not to wear BLUE lipstick….

a few days ago I was at our local drug store to have a look at new products and to stock up some things for vacation and guess what I found – BLUE LIPSTICKS. Not only one but some more from different brands. I am familiar to black lipstick and I have seen plenty of looks from the fashion week shows for fall and winter trends and I would probably use it for Halloween. I also love wearing a deep purple shade for the darker months and I also wear a lot of dark redish tones but I don´t think I can warm up with the blue tones and let´s be honest I love trends but I don´t want to go after every trend. I want to stay my personal style true so if one trend doesn´t fit I wait for another. 
If you want to check it out I found a “How to wear” from Maybelline. Essence also has a blue lipstick in their current trend edition. MAC also offers a deep Indigo shade.

What are your thoughts on blue lipsticks – trashy or trendy ?
