Casual Saturday #39 – my birthday week + at the bowling centre…

….

Hi guys

and happy weekend to all of you. I am checking in today for another weekly round-up so be sure to grab your fresh cup of coffee and stay with me.

Activities:

Overall through the winter time I get very lazy regarding in times of going out and doing a lot of stuff outside the house. It is just too cold and always dark and it whether snows or rains so not really nice to be out on the street. But despite all the things (and really all of them happended in that one night) we went out last Saturday to a bowling centre with a befriended couple and it was so much fun. We weren´t that bad at all but we really didn´t play to win. Just for fun. After two hours and three rounds of bowling (and upcoming signs of fatigue and hunger) we headed to a nearby restaurant (the Beach House). I have written about this before and they serve – at least in my opinion – the best Ceasar Salad I have found so far. We really enjoyed the nice evening.

On my birthday on Tuesday we went out to have my annual birthday dinner at my favorite restaurant (Tiziano) and had a very nice evening. I got some very nice presents and had a great meal and overall it was a great day. You can read my birthday post including 29 random and personal facts here.

Shopping:

I haven´t gotten too much this week but since I am in full  Valentine´s Day mode everything is whether pink or read or heart shaped/patterned. Just can´t help it. It is one of my favorite holidays of the year. Asos has quite the range of hear patterned pieces like this very Moshino like sweater and these cute pair of heart earrings.

Drinking:

Due to all the festivities (Christmas, New Years and my birthday) of the last weeks we have been drinking lots of champagne. Moet & Chandon is by far my favorite. We are usually keeping one bottle at home for a celebratory event but I mostly drink the more inexpensive version called Freixent as I also really enjoy the taste and they have a lot of different ones.

Watching:

Went on with Supernatural but only saw about 2 more episodes. Also we finished season 2 of Designated Survivor and I am not quite sure if I want to start with YOU. It is super hyped but I have heard positive and negative opinions about it so I am really not sure if I want to waist my time with it (haven´t even read one book in the whole month of December).

Sporting:

I am still not back to my fitness routine but I have recently gotten a workout DVD from amazon. It is called Jillian Michaels – Ripped in 30. There are four rounds, one for every week of the month. You do the same workout every day for one week and then you go on to the second workout for the second week and so on. I did my first on Wednesday and oh boy it was hard. I can´t remember sweating so much and feeling so exhausted and sore after. Took about 25 minutes. Hopefully I can keep up with it.

Reading:

I have to admit I didn´t read a lot the last two weeks. I started Better Than Before from Gretchen Rubin and I also have read a lot of post from a blog I have recently found called Champagne Colored Glasses.

Posts to read from this week:

How to style a Poncho… // Birthday Girl… // Wedding Wednesday – Details on my wedding dress… // Faux fur collar cardigan and black flower dress… // Pleated skirt and windowpane blouse…

I am wishing you all a nice weekend. We are heading out to a Italian restaurant this evening to celebrate Florian´s uncles birthday.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Casual Saturday #38 – Zara / H&M try on + a new breakfast place we tried…

….

Good morning guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I am wishing you a happy Saturday. The last weeks have gone a little quicker I had wished for but that´s just how it is. So for today I am sharing some things we did.

printed dress (not available anymore in this print) – Zara (wearing size M)

volant dress – Zara (wearing size M)

knit sweater – Zara (wearing size M)

blazer jacket – H&M (wearing size 40 but 36 would have worked easily)

midi dress – H&M (wearing size M)

Sales:

I personally love the after Christmas sales more than Black Friday because in my opinion the deals are way better and the sale prices are much less than the original prices. I used the opportunity to stock up on dresses and hair accessories I can wear most time of the year. My Zara and H&M order arrived in the middle of the week and I couldn´t wait to try on all the pieces. I have linked as many as possible but things sell fast.

Food:

Last Saturday we went to a new breakfast place in Regensburg (not new in general but new to us) cause we got a voucher for Christmas to try it out and what can I say – it was delicious. I personally love breakfast but I can never eat as much as I want in the morning as I am barely hungry, also a reason why we went at 11 a.m. the other reason was that we just slept too long. It is called the Weichmann´s and the café is just the cutest. It has been a former gallery and includes the cutest little wintergardena and also an outside spot for breakfast in the summer. I had the waffles with maple syrup and two eggs sunny side up. They also serve fresh pressed juice but I´d rather take one without the chance of having pulp in it.

TV:

We started to watch Supernatural on amazon Prime last week and are currently in the middle of season 1. There are already 12 existing seasons so this is going to last a while. Also I wasn´t sure if I could watch it but there are mainly monsters so I am fine with it.

Another movie I wanted to watch is Bird Box but I have seen the trailer and was already scared as hell so I think I´d rather skip this one. Although I really wanted to see Sandra Bullock in a movie again.

Has anyone already seen the spin-off of Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl called You?? I am not sure if I want to start it. Is it good?

Beauty:

I had a appointment at the hair dresser yesterday as you may have seen on my Instragram channel. I am going to do a post with all the information about my hair very soon, like color and cut and my favorite items to maintain it.

Fitness:

I am not totally back at my routine but I am at the studio at least 2 times a week which makes four days of excercise (included Line Dance on Monday and Latin dance on Tuesday). It feels good to start to get moving again and especially to get back into a routine. The holidays always make me so lazy in the end. I also ordered a pedometer which shows the calorie consumption of a day and also tracks your sleep cycle. I first wanted the original Fitbit one but in my opinion it is way to expensive cause I know myself and I don´t know how long I am going to use it. So I got a slim black one from Medion.

That´s it for this week. We are going out to bowl this evening with a couple of friends and head to the Beach House for dinner afterwards. I know exactly what I am going to eat there – any clues?? Of course, a Ceasar salad with sweet potatoe fries and guacamole.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a nice weekend.
