How adorable is this bright red Christmas tree sweater !!! I mean it is all I want in a Christmas sweater – the red color, the Christmas tree embroidery and the sequins. Jackpot!!

The plan was to wear this outfit to go out for coffee into the city but it had snowed all night with no chance to go anywhere.

I am very proud of all my colorful Winter looks I have worn so far. As much as I love color, the longer the cold and dark Winter lasts I usually get into wearing black much more than I want to but I just get into a funk. I have planned a #colorfulwinter which means I am going to be as colorful as possible in the midst of the coldest and darkest time. Going to share everything in a separate post soon.

Chocolate Brown has been my color of the season. I know it is a total trend color and I do really appreciate it cause I like the color a lot and I have never seen more pieces in this gorgeous hue.

If you have been following me for a while now you know my love for dresses as well as knit pieces which means a knit dress is the ultimate combo. 

I have paired it in true winter fashion with a pair of riding boots, a cadett cap, a plaid scarf and fuzzy cozy vest.

I have always loved a pleated skirt – mini skirt, not so much but this look worked out great. If you feel a little naked with a short skirt, a pair of black tights really help.

The colors would also work great for Fall but the boots and tights and the thick knit cardigan scream Winter. 

A combination of turtleneck shirt and knit cardigan is one of my favorite combo to wear with a skirt or a pair of pants. 

Hopefully this will give you guys some outfit inspiration on how to wear a pleated mini skirt. The beige color is pretty versatile and looks adorable with so many other colors.
