My February or much more my Valentine´s Day challenge has been to style and wear pink looks from the first of February until Valentine´s Day and I not only did I make it through easily I also loved it a lot to wear pink for 2 weeks straight. It somehow boosted my mood and also made me happy for Spring and all its gorgeous colors.
14 Days of Pink
So let´s recap all of the 14 pink looks I have worn.
You may have noticed from my Instagram page that I am doing a 14 days of pink challenge which basically means I am wearing pink everyday until the 14th of February.
It has worked out great so far and it also didn´t get boring wearing the same color everyday. I might do this with another color every month.
How adorable is this pink ruffle shirt. It works so great with lots of other pieces and the color surprisingly works so well with many more.
This whole look is super cool but also elevated enough to work out at an office or even to go out for a date night.
So this might be a little inspo for Valentine´s Day already. Are you going out or staying in? We actually have planned to go out.
A turtleneck is probably my number one fashion piece in the Fall and Winter. I am turning into a whole Diane Keaton around those months and my neck becomes a really rare sight.
But what is it that makes the turtleneck so versatile for Winter? Of course the neckline. Surprise!!! It is easy and looks good to layer underneath most pieces likes vests, dresses, cardigans or blazer jackets.
For today´s post I wanted to share different ways you can style your turtleneck that you will be and stay happy with it until Spring comes back around.
Isn´t orange a marvelous color to wear ? Not only for Fall style or bronzed skin during the Summer. It really works year round and is definitely what you´ll need in the dead of Winter.
A shirt dress is a very easy piece to style. It works year round – in the spring with a denim jacket, in the summer with a cute pair of flats, in the Fall with cozy knit and in the winter with a chic blazer and tights – and looks immediately chic.
I have used lots of accessories for this outfit. Since it has been super cold I went with a pair of boots and a soft and warm scarf. I always wear thick socks in my boots cause I do not want to freeze while walking around.
A hat is an absolute must on cold and rainy days. Not only helps a cap to keep you warm but also looks pretty cool and you can´t cool of too easily. Another bonus point is that it hides a bad hair day perfectly. 😉
The color combo is also an anbsolute win. Navy, orange and cognac brown always work like a charm. If you are not a fan of navy you could also swap it out for black. The look would work with a black shirt dress just as well.
