If you ask me February has gone by in the blink of an eye. I have done so many cute things for Valentine´s Day and Carnival and it immediately has been March.
The weather was still pretty cold in Feburary but I definitely came over my Winter blues and added lots of color to my outfits lately.
I have finally jumped on the teddy coat train and I love it. The coat just looks so insanely soft and comfortable like a stuffed animal. A coat in this light shade of brown is definitely a great addition to your Winter wardrobe. It fits very well almost every other color. It looked particularly great with a deep shade of burgundy like its in the dress.
The coat I am wearing above is from esmara and also available in black for a great price of under 30 Euro.
I have participated in #nospendjanuary and it wasn´t as hard as I thought. Did not make it all the way through but for me it wasn´t about getting nothing but about cutting way back on ordering new things. One thing I have gotten back is my love and exitement for creating outfits. I was organizing all my skirts the last week of December and had so many I definitely wanted to wear before Spring and I created so many outfits and realized I love all of my older pieces so much and it is way easiert to find a daily look if you have tried and true pieces you know how to combine.
The one thing I got in January has been a ruffle denim shirt. I had one years back and always loved it so much but it didn´t fit anymore. I was so excited when I found such a similar one.
Going to extend into #nospendfebruary and maybe March. We´ll see how it goes but we can defintely agree that it is way more sustainable and a lot cheaper that way.
I also don´t have a full month of outift inspo for you because the flu has hit our hosue at some point and all we have worn were pj´s.
A few weeks back I definitely thought it would get warmer soon and so I was already creating tons of Spring looks in my dressing room until I looked out the window and saw that it started snowing. My wishful thinking ended quite abrupt. I mean the sunny and deep blue sky definitely says Spring but the snow around me doesn´t at all.
Nevertheless I have worn this adorable blush pair of denim pants I got a few months back. I am wearing color year round but I am tending to lighter colors and brighter colors at the end of Winter. Helps me feel lighter and also boosts my mood a lot even if we are still knee deep in the Winter months.
Olive green has been around for many years but I think it has its peek in trendiness last year. You can find everything in olive green and it is a great neutral color to pair with so many other colors like white, red, navy, pink other greens and also yellow.
