Hello my Christmas time loving friends,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
happy first day of December and welcome to 10 Days of Christmas. For the next 10 days (no matter what day it is I am giving away a little something everyday as a thank you to my readers).

So since the cold has finally arrived and we already had some snow falls I am mostly going outside trying to have evey inch of my skin covered in something warm and cozy and of course fashionable.

Staying cozy in the Winter is one of my favorite things and I am also prooving that Winter mustn´t be sad and black at all. What about a pink jacket including a matching fuzzy blanket scarf. And plaid is super fashionable anyways so it doesn´t matter what color combination you choose to be your favorite. For the rest of my look I kept it pretty simple with a pair of high-waisted jeans and a white sweater I got last year. I decided to go with brown boots after all as the contrast isn´t as harsh as with black (if you are super trendy and have a pair of white boots feel free to wear these).

So for the first giveaway of many I am giving away this pink blanket scarf from H&M. It is super soft and warm and doesn´t itch at all and the colors are a girls dream.

Be sure to enter the giveaway below. It is going to be open one week from now on so the winner will be anounced on the 8th of December.

Thanks for stopping by and good luck.

Trend color mustard – office version….

Good morning guys,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
although the trend color of the year 2018 was/is ultra violet (has anyone ever worn this color more than once this year and does a purple lipstick also count?) my definite winner for this year of fashion is mustard. I absolutely adore the rich shade of yelllow and have several pieces. In my opinion this is one of all the yellow´s which matches the most skin tones and really goes with a lot of colors.

I personally love wearing it with black to let the color pop since the contrast is so high or with a darker brown for that American Hustle color palette of rich browns, yellows and creme shades.
If you are reading my blog regularly you might know that I love me a great midi length piece at any time and this dress is no exception.  Absolutely love the playfulness of the ruffle and stripe detailing. I paired it with a black cardigan and a slim waist belt to set some focus with a golden double circle belt.

Overknees where the perfect addition to this look cause since they diappear under the dress it makes your legs look much longer.

This whole look would be totally office appropriate. The dress is long enough, the heels aren´t to high and the colors are bright but not too much.

Do you have any preferred colors? Since red is my staple color and burgundy was my absolute last years favorite I totally love mustard this year.
Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Hi guys
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
and happy Wednesday. The half of the week is through today and I am in full planning mode over here for our holiday party on Friday. I have completed my table decor and also my menu so I just have to go grocery shopping and do all the cooking/prepping on Friday.

But let´s have a closer look at this adorable dress. Animal prints are super trendy (probably more than ever) and I have always loved them. I do have quite the variety in my closet.

A black and white dress is always a great option you can never go wrong with. It is a timeless and classic color combination that works with 99 % of all other colors. And a knit dress is just so comfy. I paired this Esmara leopard print dress with a simple black pair of tights and black patent pumps. To add some color I ditched my black winter jacket and went with a pink one instead. From time to time I really enjoy wearing an all black and white look. This dress would also be such a nice addition to your workwear closet. Just add a blazer jacket and you are good to got.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

How I decorated our Christmas tree + tips for a versatile decor…

….

Hello my Christmas loving friends,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
my tree has been up for about two weeks now (usually I didn´t want to set it up before the last week of November but I just can´help it) and I am loving it more every second I look at it.

We went a little aside from traditional this year and got a fashionable tree including pink, blush and black ornaments. To be honest I had most of the ornametns for years now and didn´t like them against the backdrop of a complete green tree cause the black got really lost but now we have a flocked white tree which make it stand right out and look so beautiful.

Since I love to decorate with different ornaments and also got a whole bunch of different ones I am breaking it down below for you.

Classic ornaments:
The pink, blush and black ornaments are our classic shaped ornaments on the tree. I got them in a medium and large size to mix and match as I like. I like different size ornaments a lot, also matte and glossy are great to get add texture and deepth to your tree.

Funny ornaments:
I consider a dougnut or a pink flamingo with a hat as a funny ornament. They really make the tree look special. We also had some funny ornaments last year like a soccer ball, some owls and a pair of silver high heels.

Monogrammed ornaments:
I actually stumbled across these as I was on the search for some pink ornaments and immediately loved them. Who wouldn´t want to have a monogrammed ornament on his tree. Never seen them in one of my favorite store before but so pretty. I also love the retro font of the letter and the bow on top of it. Got them from Nanu Nana (only in stores).

Garlands:
I decided to to with a black garland rather than a pink one because first of all I could´t find the matching shade and second of all I didn´t wanted to create a pink overload so I went with this dark grey/black metallic shimmery garland. I cut it into short pieces to drape it around several branches. In my opinion I think it turned out very nice and is another way to decorate your tree.
Ribbons:
I didn´t do any ribbons this year. First of all I couldn´t find any I liked or matched the color theme and second of all I was pretty satisfied with my metallic shining garland. But I had silver ribbons on last years tree and no garlands so I guess the fun lies in the difference (view the post here).

Overal I think unusual and various ornaments are the key to set oneself apart from other trees. It doesn´t matter if you have a color theme or just decorate with ornaments you got over the years or all the favorites you found in a store. In the end it only counts if you love your tree and it makes your home feel cozy and festive.

Do you have a color theme to decorate with or do you mix and match as you like?
I would love to know.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
