Our trip to Prague – where we stayed, what we ate….

Hi guys

this years pre-Christmas time is a little different for us. Since I have planed and organized everything upfront (decoration, presents, menu, tree) we planed on taking a weekend off and headed to beautiful Prague in Czech Republik.

It is an adorable old city. Like a mixture of Regensburg – where we live – and Venice in Italy. They have old brick buildings, big churches and lots of little bridges.

During this time of the year the city is decorated so beautiful with lots of lights and garlands. They also have about six or seven Christmas markets.

You can do lots of sightseeing. Visit the landmarks of Prague. You can spend an evening at the theatre or visit the opera. Or you could go shopping since they have an old and a new town centre there are lots of shops and possibilities.

But afterall you should really go to a restaurant and eat one of those delicious meals of their Czech cuisine. The stew called Gulasch is so so good. You won´t miss this experience and of course not how it tastes.

Where we ate:

The first evening we went to a restaurant with Czech cuisine. It was just a few metres from our hotel away and the Food was just amazing.

Where we stayed:

We stayed at the Hotel Elysee Prague. A really sweet hotel in the middle of the Wenzelplace. I found this one through the internet cause it has lots of good recommendations and is right in the new town. We had a suite for the three days but it was way to big for only staying in there for sleeping but really pretty and clean.

Upsides and Downsides:

It is a really pretty city and perfect for a Weekend trip but it is full on Saturdays and by full I mean really full. Lots of people arround for Shopping and sightseeiing and enjoying some coffee on their Weekend.

You have to change your money into their currency. They have czech krowns and not everything is less expensive. Some brands cost even more.

If you want to explore every spot and shop and restaurant three days aren´t enough.

Thanks for stopping by.
Take care. See you. Love K.

Outfit: Red Dress / White Fluffy Jacket / Checkered Scarf

Hi guys

for me there is only one color combination which shouts out christmas to me. Red and white – and since I am decoration and baking and wrapping up gifts I do like those two colors even more. So this is no surprise I am wearing a color combination of those two once in a while. We are home today preparing for a big dinner tonight and some coffee with the relatives tomorrow.

Merry Christmas and live lately…

Hi guys,

he last weeks were packed with so many different events and so much things to do that I did not tell you so much about what was going on lately. But today I have a quiet moment between packing the car and heading to dinner.

So lets get this updated. My honey moved into my house. There were several birthday parties from friends and family and also a mourning a few weeks ago. We had to do lots of Christmas shopping (his family is big) and visit at least 5 Christmas markets at different places and cities, but all were just gorgeous with all the lighting and the decoration and of course the Christmas songs. We also attended to two Christams parties and went to Prague last weekend. So December just flew by. In the few hours I had left I was baking sugar cookies, setting up a menu for Christmas Dinner, decorating the house and taking care of the blog.

But I wanted to use today to be thankful for all of my readers. I really enjoy writing for you guys. I think of new blogposts all the time what you would like to read and which ones could give you a little advice for you daily life. I am wishing you and your families and friends a Merry Christmas with lots of delicious food and awesome presents and qualitiy time with your loved ones.

There really is something special about the holiday season with all the lights, the festivites, the snow and the decoration everywhere.

Enjoy the holidays. I´ll be back soon with lots of new content. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care. See you. Love K.
