Travel recap – Halloween at the Europapark Rust….

….

Hi guys,

this was something I wanted so badly for such a long time. Being at the Europapark on Halloween. I wanted to see the spooky decoration and the creepy shows as well as the monster parades and everything else which is happening during that time (did not know before that it would be so crowded you almost couldn´t ride a thing).

Our hotel:
We stayed at the Bell Rock Hotel – one of the to the park connected hotels. We had kind of a New England / lighthouse inspired theme all over the hotel. It is absoluetly beautiful.  Walkig the aisle to your room you can hear pirates singing and the ship creak. The details everywhere are insane. You even feel like you are in another country.
The Bell Rock is a 4 star superior hotel. We had a normal double room and that was enough cause we were outside at the park the whole day. Just went back for showering and sleeping.

Eat and drink:
We took advantage of the great hotel restaurants twice. For dinner we went to the Harborside Restaurant – a buffet restaurant with meals from all over the world. And we also ate once at the St. Louis bar of our hotel. The Ceasar Salad and the Pulled Pork Burger are excellent.

Another tip is the pizza restaurant at the Collosseo Hotel (another hotel in the whole complex you can walk to within 5 minutes) and also the rooftop bar on the fifth floor.

There are many restaurants and cafés in the park where you can eat but the food isn´t as good as at the hotels (and quite expensive) and you probably have to wait a while until you get something.

The spa:
We were at the indoor pool on one day cause it was pouring rain and we couldn´t get out.The pool is created like you are standing in a ship. You have the portholes and the railing from the inside and the figurehead and the sail including the half ship on the outside pool.

 The park:
I had been to the park a few years ago already but I had forgotten a lot. The park itself is divided into different countries and each of it has a special ride for example with the landmarks itself or important things the country produces. Also the food is always authentic. For the Halloween theme the park is decorated with about 300k pumpkins. They are everywhere and this is so cool. Also there where some rides converted for the Halloween attractions but they where way to scary so we didn´t do that.

Hi guys,

(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)

as much as I love fall I am counting down the days until the middle of November and then I am starting to post Christmas content and also decorate my house for Christmas. I also made a list which movies I want to watch this year and boy there are many.

For this reason I am going to post all the fall looks I have syled this and next week so I can go straight into festive outfits and holiday styles.

So the main topic is plaid. I just love this pattern (almost as much as I love a good flower pattern). Doesn´t matter if it is gingham, glencheck or even a houndstooth print. I think it is very versatile and doesn´t have a „granny“ touch at all. It totally has become a staple in fashion througout the years and I wouldn´t wanna miss it at all.

For today´s post I am wearing this plaid coat (in a totally traditional plaid print) I got from H&M about 6 or 7 years ago and what can I say it came back into stores this year. Not the same but pretty similar.

I paired it with this orange blouse to add some color. The orange is also in the coat so this matches pretty well. I choose to wear my olive pair of cargo pants with the orange top. Cargo pants are all over blogs these days and I am owning this pair for such a long time now and it is still trendy or again. Maybe you shouldn´t be a clothing hoarder like I am but I think you get my point here. Fashion rotates which means everything is coming back in style sooner or later.
To complete the look I added my Longchamp Le Pliage in a khaki shade and a pair of heels covered in a tortoiseshell pattern.

I hope the week is running fast cause we are going tree shopping on Saturday. Horray.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
you might have that we had been to Straßbourg on the last day of our road trip and I have to say that this is one of the most adorable little cities I have ever seen. It has so much french charm but it so close to the german border. We only had a few hours but I loved it there (much more on my travel post next week).

So what to wear to a french city. I decided to go with classics. A knit dress, a pair of black otk boots with a short heel to walk around in all day, a soft and cozy plaid scarf (how pretty is this one I am wearing – the red is so rich and bold) and a kind of knitted cadett cap. And you can´t go wrong with black and red. A classic yet modern color combo. Since it wasn´t too cold that was totally okay. Of course I had worn a jacket too. A gray coat.

I still love wearing dresses for fall and winter. Not only that they are super comfortable and fashionable. Wearing a pair of boots and a thick pair of tights won´t let you freeze either unless it isn´t under 0 degrees.

We didn´t do to much on the weekend. I was at a line dance festivity on Saturday and we celebrated my father-in-law´s birthday yesterday with – of course – delicous Indian food.

Thanks for stopping by guys. Hope you are having a great start into the new week.

Take care. See you.

Fashion trend – gingham´s little brother glencheck….

pullover Zara currently sold out similar here / heels New Look / skirt H&M / bag Fashion Drug / sunnies H&M

….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
and happy Saturday. The weekend is here and I am so happy. I don´t have anything planned for the day than staying at home. Such a nice change and I really love staying at home in my cozy robe and clean up or enjoy a cup of coffee.

Since I have worn gingham non-stop throughout the summer I switched checks for fall. My new love now is glencheck. Another kind of plaid. I got the sweater from Zara and I love it. It is oversized but not too big so you can wear it with skirts and pants. The grey is a super versatile color for fall.

I paired it with a grey skirt and this pair of beautiful heels. The pink is so rich and bold and I totally love it. I have worn a matching lipstick to the shoes to complete the look. And how pretty are the bands which can be tied to a bow!!!

The bag is a designer dupe I got from Fashion Drug and I love it so be sure to see it over and over again. Great quality for under 100€.

Grey and black are perfect fall colors to combine with bright and bold colors like red, pink, royal blue or purple.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
