Our Little Coffee Corner at Home…

I just love my morning coffee. It is one of the little things I cherish everday over and over. The first sip of coffee is like a huge burst of energy running through my veins I just can´t describe this feeling. Also in my opinion the first coffee of the day tastes best. No matter where you get it in which way you decide to drink it. I always have a black coffee with a splash of fat free milk but if we are out for breakfast I´ll get a cappuccino and if we are at Starbucks I´ll usually have a vanilla latte. 3 super boring coffee orders but that´s just me. I like it simple and sometimes with a little twist.

Now let´s move on to our coffee corner I have created over the years we have lived in our house and to this day I think it is the perfect spot to make my morning coffee. I can wait for the coffee maker to heat up while breathing in fresh morning air from the window besides and I can also have a look outside how the weather is doing (or sometimes what the neighbours are doing 😉 ).

We have a very simple coffee maker and it is totally fine. There are different coffee pads you can purchase, also from huge coffee brands like Dallmayr or Jacobs. Another option you also have is a hot chocolate version which is also very yummy and calorie reduced cause it is made with hot water.

I personally love to have a clear theme so I got a coffee picture, some coffee themed books and a coffee candle that turned out to be the best smelling candle I have ever lit. The customized go-to Starbucks cups are from etsy. You can shop them here. The black and white mugs add some contrast. Now the upper shelf contains a cute fake plant and a wooden box where all of my teas are in. The white travel mug is from Emsa and my favorite brand. Never leaks and keeps my coffee hot.

The shelving system is Ikea. The shelves are called Burhult and the holder are called Ramshult.

Flower Midi Skirt…

Maybe I have been overdoing it a little with all the flower prints I have shared lately but this is a print that truly makes me happy, also there aren´t two alike. There is millefleurs as well as huge flower prints, there are neon colored flowers as well as laid back classic black and white ones.

So in my opinion a midi skirt has the perfect length for every occasion. No matter what kind of appointment you have – if you are on a date (pair it with a cute tank top and stilettos), for the the office (wear a cute blouse and slingbacks) and also for your weekend errands (pair it with a t-shirt and a pair of comfortable espadrilles).  Also a midi lenght is always the most appropriate choice.

Flower Maxi Dress…

Summer is in full swing although the heat gladly gave us a little break. So before it comes back in full force next week I always like to get a lot of things done around the house cause I hate sweating while doing chores or organizing. I have lots of organisation posts coming your way but I just need a little more time finding out how to shoot them.

I probably have said it many times and I will say it again, a dress is the easiest piece to dress yourself in the Summer months. Just put it on and you are good to go. A pair of sandals, an undone bun and cute earrings will complement your look. I just love that.

As for the dress a flower print isn´t the most imaginative but I love it the most so I guess there is no pleasing here in Miranda Priesley 😉

Green Gingham Skirt…

….

Green has been super present the last couple of months and I am not mad about it. I personally love a vibrant green shade but also an olive hue.

This cute green gingham skirt has been the perfect Summer companion so far. Lightweight, colorful and easy breezy to wear. Fall fashion is still my favorite but I have found some great pieces for this season I am continuing to share here.

Another thing I have loved this Summer are square toe sandals. I have tried about a dozen of green pairs I wanted so bad but with my swollen pregnant feet and narrow cut shoes there wasn´t a chance I could even fit in there. This pair was literally my last try and they had been the cheapest and the comfiest. The brank is called Monki.

Green is a really versatile color and fits so well with many other cute Summer colors like pink or orange but also muted colors like brown, white, gray and cream.

I have been a fan of green for years so I am very pleased with the pieces you can get everywhere. Green really has its fashion high at the moment and you should take advantage of it if you are interested.
