Hi guys
as you all might know – and maybe you are allready tired of hearing it, I am very sorry – our summer vacation is very close now and of course I got some cute and practical stuff for packing without getting stressed and a lot of style.
Jewelry Travel Case from Lakeland 
This is so practical to me. You can store the earrings and rings you want to take with you while travelling and as it is super soft inside you don´t have to be worried something could get lost or even break.

 

 

Customized luggage tags from Zazzle
I ordered these a few weeks ago at their website. You can take a pattern they already have and choose the color and the font you like to have or you can upload your very own. 
They start making your order after you set it and I gotta say it came here pretty fast. It only took about 10 days. First I wanted black and white ones which go with all of my luggage pieces but as a girl you can never go wrong with pink – am I right ?

This was definitely necessary for me. I do not have a lot of patience so if I am searching for something and I can´t find it as quickly as possible I get really nervous and then I won´t find it at all. But with these transparent toiletry bags it is super easy. You always have a look at everything that is inside plus if one of the products leaks during your journey can just wipe it off and go on. If that happens with a bag made of fabrics you usually have to wash it first before using it again. So this is a pretty simple and cool solution for me.

 

 
As an additon to my suitcase I usually take a weekender with me to put in everything else I don´t want to pair with my clothing – like my shoes, my toiletry bags or my hair dryer and curling wand – so it doen´t get wrinkly or dirty. I got this one years ago and it works very good. They have three different sizes S, M and L and since a short time you can get yours customized with you name on it. It has the shape of a doctor bag so it opens really wide on the top. I like the fabric a lot and they have so many different colors and patterns. The small one could also be used as a diaper bag.
 


 
and last but not least….

Not only that they are super cute – cause they are – the range of mini-me products is super wide. So almost everybody can get his´s or hers favorites in tiny for travelling or just for fun.

Showing further parts of my house….

Hi guys

today I am revealing another room of our house –

– the LIVING ROOM-
It took a little to get this one ready. It has been the most used room so we had to do a lot before I could take some pictures and show it to you (and I almost waited 3 months for the sofa to arrive).
There was a crack in the sealing which had to be fixed first and after that we painted everything white and also had to get the rest of the bottom bars and mount them but here we are now…..
 The center of the room is – of course – the sofa. It has to be cause it is the biggest item in there. The color is just gorgeous – it fits with grey and also with brown. 

Around the couch is the dining table – a high shine white one for four people (you could also fit 6 people). I do have white chairs around the table wich I like a lot because it is so versatile this way. You can almost use every color for decorating the table you like.






There are several shelves for photos and decoration items and a glass cabinet for all my wine and champagne glasses and decanters.

I also purchased this firceplace – isn´t it super cute. I put some of our best pictures upon it. The wooden wall behind it is an adhesive wallpaper on a thin acrylic glass plate.

The bricks on the wall are actual real stones – we left them cause they are pretty cool and they match with the shabby chic theme which gets us to the next pieces of furniture.


 
The coffee table has this shabby chic design which I like a lot – also the clock above the fireplace. The pattern is so lovely.





That´s all for my living room so far. I hope you enjoyed this little sneek peek in my house. 

Planning on doing another room – stay tuned.
Totally into packing and planing for my summer vacation at this point.

Mornings……..

Hi guys

I am really not a morning person – I am so tired after waking up even if I slept a long time but it´s still really hard getting up so early – so best for me is to be really organized in the morning so there can´t be any surprises (usually).

I am planning my outfits the evening before because I am so tired I do not get one creative thought so it would take ages for me to pick something to wear.

I am getting up a little earlier than my boyfriend does to get in the bathroom before him – he doesn´t need much time and I do have two sinks so it wouldn´t even be a problem but so we can go to the kitchen together.

COFFEE – the most important thing for me, otherwise I would be a total mess – and a glass of juice (usally we have an orange or vitamin juice). During the week we usually do not eat breakfast or just something small like a croissant or a doughnut. 
I make pancakes or scrambled eggs or waffles on the weekends.

After
walking my dog – she isn´t a morning dog either – I feed her and she
goes back into her bed. I couldn´t be more jealous at this point 😉

Then
I am packing the stuff I need ( another coffee to go, my calender, my
bag, my cell and any other stuff I think I am gonna need) and go to
work.

This is my morning routine on weekdays so far – the weekends are totally different. So in this case it would be a little difficult to give you a little sneek peek.

Beach bag essentials……

it´s been some up and down with the weather since summer has officially started BUT everytime it is hot and there are a couple day I am out on the lake as long and as often I can.
Here are some of my Essentials: 
Of course a pretty and colored big bag for the towels and drinks and all the other stuff you need or want to bring with you.
Beach Bag – H&M
Shoes – Havaianas
Drink – Coca Cola

 This gorgeous “Beach Babe” Make-Up or hair accessory pouch.

Pouch – H&M
Sunnies – H&M
Blotting Papers – Essence
Lip Butter – Body Shop
Towels – Seahorse

Of course you gotta use sun protection spray. This is really important for me – because of the changing weather there isn´t a real chance to get used to the hot weather or the sun. 
Sunburn is really bad for your skin. It hurts a lot, it can cause fever in the night and of course if you are not using sun protection sprays or lotions for years it can cause some really bad skin cancer.


and I also have those gorgeous body oils from their summer line
The Monoi de Tahiti

the normal body oil 

and the one with the gold glitter of course 😉


but they are for your skin after sun bathing and showering to keep the glow on your skin and make it super soft.




I am always wearing a hat and sunglasses. 
First of all I don´t want to get my to dry (can not prevent it that good but in my opinion it doesn´t have to be worse) and second thing is I am  afraid of getting a sunstroke. 

Another real beach (or lake essential) are my Havaianas
 I totally fell in love with this brand as we were in Brasil for vacation some years ago.
Since then I am only wearing those if I am wearing flipflops.

I usually do not wear make-up on purpose. If am going later on the day there might be some left on my face (oops). Maybe some matte powder or just a bronzer.


What I always wear over my bikini is this super cute beach dress from H&M. 










Those are the main things I take with me while going to the lake.
