since we are at the beginning of the Christmas weeken I am not only outfit planing but also make-up planing. My go to beauty products for Christmas time include lots of glitter, shimmer and deep bold colors. A must have is a deep red lipstick like this one I recently got. The color is a beautiful rich red matte shade.

I also opt for a much more dramatic eyeshadow than during the other months. A brown, black or even olive smokey eye can look really cool with a sequin dress.  

I got two make-up looks for you today. A classic Christmas look with lots of red and a trendy look with metallic brown, dark green and sparkles.

Both looks are created with my favorite drug store products. Each one is under 15 € and should be available all the time.

since Christmas and NYE are already here I am all about festive clothing and dressing up. So today I am sharing another holiday look over on Madame Schischi. This glam look could also easily work for NYE but I think I am gonna wear it to one of our Christmas dinners. 

The fringe skirt is from H&M and I wanted one since I had seen one on a blogger last year. It is just too cool. Everytime you move the fringes do as well, one of the reason I love the “Charleston dresses”. It is flowy and festive and looks so cute. I paired it with a black pussy bow tie pullover and a blazer jacket. The blazer jacket has little golden particles woven into the material. 

I added a pair of sparkly pumps – they are called my NYE pumps cause I have owned them for several years now and only worn them on this one evening. Also a handbag shouldn´t be missed. I used my snake print shoulder bag I got in Spring. Usually I would have prefered some kind of up-do for my hair but curly hair was also really pretty to it. Gave it such a 20´s charme.

my last gift guide went live today. It is for “her” and I think it turned out great. Of course this one is probably perfect for me cause I love every single item in it (just a little hint). It goes from affordable to high class pieces and also has some inbetween so I think this really is a great mixture. 


The Tori Burch Gemini tote is available in so many color pairings and in my opinion you can never go wrong with a classic shaped bag.The other thing which is definitely a hit is a super soft and luxe looking pullover in a creme color. A total closet staple and with the current oversized trend it is way easier to get a fitting piece.

Another perfect gift – if the girl is a coffee or tea lover – would be this beautiful Kate Spade travel mug. The traveller of your family would probably appreciate a piece of luggage most. This one is available in 12 colors so what you need is a color the person loves and your are good to go.


You see gifting isn´t as difficult or as expensive as many think. Just take 5 minutes for each before you head to a store and think about what people love or do. Might be enough already.

in less than a week is Christmas!!!! Can you believe it!! I am so excited and in full holiday bliss. So I am sharing another holiday look on Madame Schischi today. I am a sucker for anything read which you might have recognized by now (not only during Christmas time) but when you are in doubt wear red. Works year round. 
But for the holidays it had to be a little more glam and guys as I found this excellent red sequin wrap skirt a few weeks ago at the H&M online store I couldn´t be happier. It really is a stunner with its dark red colored sequins and I adore all things sequins and for the price for under 25 it is the perfect addition for your holiday wardrobe. I have worn this skirt already to our Holiday Party but it would also make a great statement for NYE. 

I added a soft and cozy turtleneck and a boyfriend blazer to the skirt. The satin bow clutch and the sparkly pumps added some chic to the fancy skirt. 

There is another great piece for the holidays on Thursday and our annual Christmas table scape is up on the blog tomorrow. Be sure to check back is is going to be a lot more christmassy.
