I know that Christmas time puts a lot of pressure on each and every one of us. There is the decoration we have to set up, gifts we need to find, there are family or holiday parties to host and menues to plan and don´t forget to send out the Christmas cards in time!!
Thinking of all these different things might be overwhelming at first but you have to tackle it piece by piece and for the time in between I have 4 tips/activites to lower your stress levels and give you the possibilitiy to really enjoy the most wonderful time of the year.
#1
Grab a cup of hot cocoa, head to your sofa and turn on Netflix. They have so many Christmas movies on their channel. You will get in the festive mood believe me and it is also nice to cuddle up while it´s cold outside.
My favorites are:
A Christmas Prince
The Spirit of Christmas
The Grinch
A Christmas Kiss
Merry Kissmas
The Nightmare before Christmas
Miracle on 34th Street

Be sure to create your own and unique Christmas playslist. Listening to your favorite Christmas songs whenever you like really is a nice change to the normal radio (in my opinion they chat to much and always play the same songs). You can listen to your playlist while driving in the car, wrapping presents or cooking and cleaning at home.
Be sure to check out my playlist for some inspo.

Bake the Christmas cookies YOU love the most. As a woman we always try to please others and care about others more than about ourself. That´s just how it works but sometimes there is something you have to do for your own especially in stressful times. Search the recipe you love the most and start baking and if these are some your family members or room mates don´t like – good for you, so there is even more left.
Here is my favorite recipe. They are called snowflake cookies and super delicious.

Visit Christmas markets
The Christmas markets are everywhere these days so it is nice to spend an afternoon or an evening strolling around. Having some punch and some delicious food. Maybe you can find a last minute gift at the booths with all the pretty handmade things like wooden figurines or handcolored candles.
It is good to unwind before the big day hits.
We are going to visit a Christmas market on Sunday and I am also going to bake my favorite Christmas cookies tomorrow listening to my Christmas playlist.
Do you have any other tips to lay back before the stressful three days of Christmas?
Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

skirt Zaful / pullover old similar here and here / heels Choies / clutch H&M old similar here and here / earrings H&M / lip color Domination from Balmain x L´oréal
isn´t red the perfect color for Christmas? I think so – maybe have mentioned this earlier but it is still the truth.
A pair of fancy shoes is also a must have for the holiday season. Whether they are golden, have sparkles all over or do have a big bow. I choose the big bow for this season (cause I also have all the other kinds). They are incredible cute and about 30€. If you order now by Choies you could get them in time for the holidays (they are also available in green and black).
Also a nice skirt is appropriate for Christmas. This a-line midi skirt from Zaful is such a beauty. It has music notes printed all over the skirt. The length is great and I love that it is high-waisted so you could easily tuck your shirt into it too.
To round up the look I paired a matching red sweater and a black clutch with a bow (never met a bow I didn´t like). Also the little earrings with a gift are perfect for the holidays and aren´t they just too cute?!
Do you have any holiday outfits planed already or are there any color combinations you would like to see ? Let me know.
Have a nice Monday and thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

I made these for last years Christmas and they where a total hit so I wanted to share the “recipe” with you.
This is my recipe for an homemade, organic and in fact totally eatable – I tried that – body scrub.
I
made some for the women in our families as a little present to the
usual ones we got. But this doesn´t have to be a Christmas present – you
can make this and gift this year round. Just take other tags and paper
bags for the pots.
So
this is really easy, all you need is coconut oil, brown sugar and some
vanilla extract – all depending on how much you want to make. Take two
cups of coconut oil, two cups of sugar and one tablespoon of vanilla
extract. You can double as much as needed. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fill it into the glass vessels.
That´s it. Super easy right. You can personalize it as much as you want by different bags or tags or stickers.
Have a nice weekend. Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
and welcome to my second gift guide for Christmas. Today´s theme is the homebody. This is a kind of person I can really relate too cause as soon as it gets Winter I become a number one homebody myself. It is dark and cold outside and I love to cuddle up on the sofa with a cozy robe or a cozy blanket and sip a cup of hot cocoa.
Most of the gifts are under 50 € so they are pretty affordable but in fact this is always hard to say cause it depends on how much you can and want to spend.
How far are you with your Christmas decorations and gift shopping? I almost have everything. Decoration is done and today I am starting to make Christmas cookies.
I have nothing planed for the weekend than staying at home and test cooking some meals I want to make for our Christmas dinner.
Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
