Wedding Wednesday – DIY rustic wind lights for a fall wedding….

For glueing everything together I grabbed Simone, Florian´s sister and also a bridesmaid and we had a fun Friday afternoon with lots of glue eveywhere. This isn´t as easy as it seems.
But it worked and it is super easy. First of all I marked the glasses so that the edging would be in the same hight on evey wind light. Therefore I got a yellow removable overhead marker. Worked really good. After marking the glasses I cute the edging in the size we needed it. I have two types of glasses so there had to be longer and shorter bands of jute.
Then we started glueing. I have to admit I have never done anything with hot glue and I am also not very crafty so this was quite the challenge but I think it turned out very well. I really like them.
To make sure everybody gets the fall theme we also had some leaves in orange and burgundy and glued one onto each wind light.
The candles for the arrangements are all burgundy cause I just love this deep and rich fall color a lot.
I think they turned out pretty well and will hopefully look pretty on the dining tables.

Easter table scape in the Pantone 2018 color Ultra Violet….

since Easter is on Sunday already I thought I might share my 2018 easter table scape with you to give you some
inspiration for your brunch set up. I decided to go with the pantone color of
the year and incorporated lots of ultra violet which I totally adore. In my
opinion gold pairs way better than silver with the purple shades so I went with
golden easter eggs and golden cutlery also aren´t these glasses just the cutest?!
willow branches are from the nearest garden center but I think you can get them
everywhere around this time even at your local supermarket. I have them every
year cause they are a real easter symbol for me. You can see last years Easter
table scape here. I had a pink and orange theme and loved it.
are all different but that is how I wanted it to look and since they have the
same color pairings this really works for the table. The table runner are from
Butlers and they are in a thick and nice material, double sewed so they would
also work for your outside dining area.
Do you already have plans for Easter are you inviting or are you invited ?

It is something about the pattern and the color pairings which makes the material so noble and immidiately upgrades anything you pair it with or put it onto.
Whether if you are investing in a real marble piece or just getting some kind of dupe with just a print on it you are for sure having a trendy piece at your home. And I am really sure this trend doesn´t go anywhere but up the next months and probably years.
The first picture is from my dinning table the others are gorgeous inspirations I found on Pinterest.
