Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
I wanted to get this room done for almost forever. Since we moved in this figured as a boxroom and everytime I cleanded it up it became a new mess within a few days. Even if we would have guests they would not be able to stay in this room and to be honest I was fed up of this mess so I decided to work on a theme which could work with this small room.
The room was already colored in a cappuccino color and had one red wall. In fact I hate painting and I didn´t want to get a new color for the room cause I actually liked the combination.
I wanted to go with a modern black and white theme for the room since the red was enough color for a small room like that. I changed the curtains from red into white and also the bed from wood into a beautiful ironbed.
There was a picture above the bed which I have changed into these two canvas pictures. I ordered them from posterxxl and the print is bought from etsy. The shop is called PrintsHomeDecor and they have many fashion prints.
The shelves where also red but they are Ikea so I just bought the same ones in white and just changed them. The decoration on the shelves mostly is from H&M or from Nanu Nana. I linked everything for you under the photos.
Now onto the bedside table. The drawer is from Ikea from the Malm series as well as the dresser but I loved the way they matched with the floor so I left them inside. I found this lamp at TJMaxx for a real steal. The clear part looks so clean and modern I fell for it immediately. I also ordered two coffeetable books for the bedside table and added two candles.
How gorgeous is this adorable little bench covered with a white faux fur. It is perfect to put your bag or your clothing on and it also adds such a charme to the whole room.
The mirror area was a little harder to arrange. There was a big golden mirror before which is now in my office so I needed the same size or a bigger mirror to cover up the traces on the wall.
And in fact I had no idea what to put on the dresser as well. It took me some time to figure out but then it was clear. If I would be a guest at someones house I would not want to bother every couple hours to get something to drink so I think a tray with a few drinks and glasses is just the right thing.
The beadspread, the cat pillows and of course the black and white carpet rounded up the whole theme for the room and in my opinion it turned out perfect. Even I would like to spend a night in our guest room now.
What do you think? I still have three other house projects planed for this year so stay tuned. Two of them are finished already.

Wedding Wednesday – DIY rustic wind lights for a fall wedding….

jute edging amazon / wind lights nanu nana small and large / leaves nanu nana / hot glue gun amazon / sand Depot /

….

Hi guys and happy hump day,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
the first half of the umcomfortable work week is over (although I stayed at home with a cold) and the weather is also getting better (after quite some thunderstorms and rain) so I have a lot of positivity going on here.

I am posting another Wedding Wednesday article today. Since we are going to do some of the decoration by ourselves – cause I couldn´t find anyting near my visions – I wanted to share this super easy DIY with you guys.

You might know that we are going to get married in the middle of September so I wanted a full fall themed wedding. I love fall. It is my favorite season and of course I wanted to get married during this time.

I have lots of orange, burgundy and pumpkins incorporated into the table decoration, the wedding cake and the flowers.

The main pieces you will need for this DIY are the windlights, candles, sand, the edging (I took 10 metres in jute with a white lace trim) and the leaves and of course a hot glue gun.

For glueing everything together I grabbed Simone, Florian´s sister and also a bridesmaid and we had a fun Friday afternoon with lots of glue eveywhere. This isn´t as easy as it seems.

But it worked and it is super easy. First of all I marked the glasses so that the edging would be in the same hight on evey wind light. Therefore I got a yellow removable overhead marker. Worked really good. After marking the glasses I cute the edging in the size we needed it. I have two types of glasses so there had to be longer and shorter bands of jute.

Then we started glueing. I have to admit I have never done anything with hot glue and I am also not very crafty so this was quite the challenge but I think it turned out very well. I really like them.

To make sure everybody gets the fall theme we also had some leaves in orange and burgundy and glued one onto each wind light.

The candles for the arrangements are all burgundy cause I just love this deep and rich fall color a lot.

I think they turned out pretty well and will hopefully look pretty on the dining tables.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Easter table scape in the Pantone 2018 color Ultra Violet….

table runner Butlers / place mats Galeria Kaufhof / golden cutlery / napkin rings H&M / salt and pepper shaker H&M / golden glasses H&M / hanging eggs Nanu Nana / carafe H&M / cheese board H&M / woven basket Nanu Nana

Hi guys,

(post contains affiliate links / Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)

since Easter is on Sunday already I thought I might share my 2018 easter table scape with you to give you some
inspiration for your brunch set up. I decided to go with the pantone color of
the year and incorporated lots of ultra violet which I totally adore. In my
opinion gold pairs way better than silver with the purple shades so I went with
golden easter eggs and golden cutlery also aren´t these glasses just the cutest?!

The pussy
willow branches are from the nearest garden center but I think you can get them
everywhere around this time even at your local supermarket. I have them every
year cause they are a real easter symbol for me. You can see last years Easter
table scape here. I had a pink and orange theme and loved it.

The eggs
are all different but that is how I wanted it to look and since they have the
same color pairings this really works for the table. The table runner are from
Butlers and they are in a thick and nice material, double sewed so they would
also work for your outside dining area.

Do you already have plans for Easter are you inviting or are you invited ?

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links / Werbung Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links)
there hasn´t been a material or pattern I haven´t seen on more home decor posts or inspiration bords than marble.

Whether its coffee tables, mugs, pouches, phone or laptop cases, kitchen counters and so on….

I do love it too. I love using it as a background for flatlays and I recently got three different marble inspired phone covers. I am also looking for a marble console table at the moment (any guesses??).

It is something about the pattern and the color pairings which makes the material so noble and immidiately upgrades anything you pair it with or put it onto.

Whether if you are investing in a real marble piece or just getting some kind of dupe with just a print on it you are for sure having a trendy piece at your home. And I am really sure this trend doesn´t go anywhere but up the next months and probably years.

The first picture is from my dinning table the others are gorgeous inspirations I found on Pinterest.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
