I am finally sharing another wedding post today. It is all about starting to plan and staying organized while planning. 

First of all I got a wedding planner and a file. All the contact information, our inspiration and our correspondence with vendors, caterer, florists, music bands and wedding stores is in here. Also our guest lists are in here. 
Before looking at any vendors we made a guest list. Not final but we needed to know how many people we want and can invite. 
This also makes it easier to find a vendor cause they all offer for different sizes of parties and some have a minimum guest number of 100. 

With the first expenses I started the file where I have an eye on our budget and all the invoices sorted in categories. 
This makes it a lot easier to get a quick overview than a pile of paper in a shoebox.

With all the main aspects of planning tools I got some goodies for myself like the wedding planning glass. I love the shape and the font and it is just gorgeous. Got it on etsy. They offer many different ones but I had mine shipped to Germany so this wasn´t as easy as I thought first. 

The second thing I wanted was the big jar from Yankee Candle. Wedding Day is one of my favorite smells since I stepped into the first Yankee Candle store years ago. But now it finally makes sense to own one.
Another great tool for planning is Pinterest. It might be no secret to all my girls out there that I already had a secret wedding board saved for a long time. 
 Pinterest is great and offers lots of ideas but it can also be overwhelming and confusing at the same time to have so many options and choices. I decided on a color scheme first – this wasn´t hard at all for me since I love the fall and our wedding is at the beginning of fall so I went with burgundy and orange – and then went on Pinterest for ideas. Still was a lot to process but a lot more already fell of the edge.
We still have about six months for everything but we are pretty far by now. We have a vendor, a date, a music band and a dress and a suit. Table decoration is almost tinkered and the invitations are sent out. 
 We also booked our honeymoon and got our wedding rings.

since I am a romantic girl in and out which you can also see in my ways of dressing I don´t go cool very often but this denim jacket was so beautfiul I had to have it. The color is amazing. I personally love that mustardy yellow shade no matter the season but yellow for Spring is so fresh and sets all feelings for Summer. 


Oversized denim jackets are a huge trend for spring. Whether they are embellished with pearls or in the most beautiful vibrant colors, over and over with patches or distressed. Be sure to get one. I got mine from H&M for about 20 Euro and I love it. The material is super soft and as I said the color is gorgeous. 


I paired it with a pair of jeans I got in fall last year. I got a 30 in the length to make sure it looked cropped at the hem. Like that style best for wearing flats or heels caue you can actually see the your shoes.


The Hard Rock Café t-shirt is from our London trip one year ago and the colors totally match the denim jacket – hip hip horray. But there are lots of other graphic tees out there which are also a great match. 


Wow time runs fast. One year from today we flew to London for a few days to visit the cities beautiful sights and also for shopping. It was such a great trip. One of my favorites after all.


The heels and the bag are my staple pieces for Spring and Summer cause the nude shade pairs so well with every other color. I always step back of wearing a lot of nude in the winter cause in my opinion it doesn´t fit so well and also I don´t want to ruin my shoes with all the snow and the salt everywhere.


Hope you are also ready for Spring since it is getting a little warmer everyday and Easter is right around the corner.

I can´t believe it but the weather actually got better on the weekend. It was okay on Saturday and really nice yesterday but it is pouring rain today so maybe this is the balance for the better days I just  don´t know.

We had a great weekend. Bought a wedding suit for Florian on Friday and had awesome Chinese food, on Saturday we did some DIY stuff for the wedding decoration and had sushi afterwards and yesterday we had some Indian food for dinner which means lots of rice this weekend. 


For my look I paired a pussy bow blouse (my favorite style – never met a bow I didn´t like) with an overlong cardigan in the same color family. I added my currently favorite belt (from H&M) and a pair of loafers. I really love that they have a fine thin golden line as an accent on the side. 


In my opinion a leopard print works year round and I would have choosen a white pant for the blouse if it was a warmer month.

The bag is a real bargain from Mango. They have a special offer these days – also available in black – for about 25 Euro. The style is super popular and the color works with everything. Great nude shade for Summer too.

sorry for not posting yesterday but we where out and about to find a suit for Florian for our wedding and we scored. So handsome my fiancé. 


After I finished Riverdale and rewatched Modern Family the third time and getting through Queer Eye in two days we started the new make over of the Denver Clan – Dynasty. So far I like it a lot but sometimes there is just too much drama which annoys we a little. Better keep watching…

Although there is a pretty great sale going on at the H&M stores. Scored a beautiful dress for only 15 Euro and what do you think about this trendy sweater.

I also placed an order at Asos with a pair of gorgeous white sunnies and a bright yellow could-shoulder top.
I can´t wait to get warmer so I can wear all the cute and colorful stuff. I might get a chance this weekend cause we could get about 20 degrees tomorrow.
