Loungewear for colder days or sitting out a pandemic…

The pandemic happening this year plus the second (light) lockdown here in Germany has become the literal dead of dressing up. With holiday season upon us it is even one more reason to be sad about. I have loved getting ready for holiday themed parties and events and afterward slip into my cozy loungewear but times have changed and it took a tragic turn. Maybe I am exaggerating a little but that is how it feels to me.

Don´t get me wrong I like to get comfortable on the sofa as much as anybody but doing my make-up and get dressed everyday has always been a huge and important part of my daily routine and since having a baby and being at home cause is not safe / allowed to go anywhere I haven´t had that many ocassions to do so.

So I finally invested in some cute / chic loungewear cause even if I have to stay at home and be comfortable it doesn´t meant I have to do that in worn out gray sweatpants.

Loungewear has definitely improved and I ordered some cute pieces from Asos I wanted to share with you.

Poncho – styled for Fall…

this week didn´t go as planned (postwise) but I am positive the next weeks (full of Christmas content) are up as I intended it.

Our daughters baptism is tomorrow and I am really excited for her. It is another milestone in her young life. I hope everything goes well.

Going to share a lot more from invitations, cakes and outfits over the next weeks. Hopefully we can take some nice pictures and use them for our Christmas cards as there is no time left to take actual Christmas card pics.

But now on to the look I am wearing in the photos above. It is the perfect transitional look to wear on warmer Fall days. A cute and thin turtleneck shirt makes for a great base (did you recognize my favorite of all turtlenecks ever) and then followed by a poncho. I love wearing ponchos as outerwear but sometimes the time between warm Fall weather and freezing Fall weather is so short that I don´t get to wear all of my favorites and to be honest wearing a poncho under a jacket is the worst.

My love for bootcut jeans is still going strong. Loved them since I was a kid and still prefer them over skinny yeans. They looked great with the poncho so I am definitely going to wear this style again with different pieces.

How great is it that olive green has become such a popular color for Fall and Winter. I personally love this moody he of green. Do you like it or it is too military for you?

Gotta go now or I probably won´t catch that much sleep. Going to post on Sunday this week to make up for Wednesday. See you then. Have a nice weekend.

Plaid Mini Skirt….

it is safe to say that I love to wear skirts but a plaid skirt for this season with a cute matching sweater gets a 10/10 from me.

How adorable is this mini skirt and sweater combo. I loved wearing it. The look gave me all the Fall feels and the deep maroon color is just so beautiful. A nice loose fitted sweater fits so well with a mini skirt cause it balances it out real well. The skirt has been one of my latest additions to my closet. It comes with a belt but I am not at my best shape so covered up with a sweater it is. The sweater is from SheIn and I bought it last year. The colorblocking of the creme and maroon color are perfect for Fall.

Fall is still my favorite season although my Christmas tree is up but I am going to leave my front porch decor until after Thanksgiving.

We are currently watching The Order on Netflix and I am not sure what to think about it. The magic stuff is cool but the main character is kind of a douche so we´ll see if we keep on it. I started decorating the table for our blessing on Saturday. We can not have a meal together afterwards so I am going to set up the cake for everybody to grab a piece and go home.

How adorable has the Fall weather been the last few days. Lots of sunshine and wind which makes the leaves glance in their prettiest colors and dance on the street.

I have been enjoying the autumn season a lot this year. Maybe because I am outside a lot cause I am talking strolls with Chloe and Emilia or because there isn´t much else to do this year.

This look was one of my favorites so far although I am not a huge fan of black jeans and I don´t know why but I often don´t like the way they look on me altogether.

The key piece definitely is the neon colored plaid scarf I got the other month. It is classy in pattern and style but super cool and modern including the neon colors. The brand is called Fraas and I get a scarf of them every year.

Do you guys get in the mood for plaid when Fall and Winter rolls around. I absolutely love this pattern for the colder months. It immediately makes an outfit look cozy but trendy.

I am now signing off for the week. Got lots of work to do at home but I´ll be back on Monday. See yout then guys.
