I know we are in the middle of the cold and dark Winter and about 8 weeks away from Spring but I am so looking forward to wearing lighter colors and fabrics and of course the most important thing holding our sweet little baby in my arms. 

Since it is still some time until then I am stocking up on pieces I can wear in the warmer temperatures and plan outfits with them. Always the part I love most about a new season.

The staple piece for today´s look is of course this darling striped cardigan I got sent over from IVDIH. They are a small online shop with really cute and affordable pieces. The cardigan section is my favorite and it was definitely hard to pick cause I loved them all. 

In the end I decided to go with the multicolor striped cardigan including all the beautiful Spring pastels. 

The whole look totally screamed Spring and I was feeling so light and happy and then I stepped outside and it was freezing. So I guess I still have to wait a few more weeks until it is weather appropriate wear but at least I have some major Spring inspo for you.

the weekend is finally here and I am really happy about it. I had a really slow week, I wanted to get a lot of stuff done but ended up on the sofa most of the time cause if I am standing to long either my ribs or my back hurts so the last trimester is really starting off great. 

Other than that everything is fine. I got this cute burgundy colored a-line knit dress last week at the H&M store. They have some great pieces on sale right now. Really cute highwaited skirts too but if you are like me and not having much of a waist at the moment it is probably a pass for you too. But the dress I got is super cute and soft and under 15 Euro and also available in dark gray and black. Also got the gray version. 

So for the styling of the burgundy dress I added my favorite pair of boots with the black and white snake print. Another piece that totally fit the look is the super soft white chenille cardigan. Black and white always fits great with a color so that´s what made this look interesting and the snake print pattern of course.

by now you might know that I can´t walk away from a pretty dress and thanks to my closet I didn´t need a lot of new things for this pregnancy.

Dresses are my go-to option if I don´t know what to wear and a plain colored dress works even better. You can nearly pair any pattern and color with a beige colored dress like this. 

I opted for a plaid maxi scarf I have worn as a cape in this particular look. Plaid is my go-to pattern for winter. It somehow fits best in this season. Not only for Christmas but during the whole winter time. Also adding a red lip can never fail you especially if there is a pretty shade of red in the clothes you are wearing.

we are almost in the last week of February which means one of my favorite holidays is approaching quickly – of course I am talking about Valentine´s day.

I love to wear all kind of pinks, blush and reds for Valentine´s Day so I decided to create a lookbook for you guys including a bunch of looks you can wear to a dinner date, to work or for a Galentine´s feast. 

All of the pieces (besides the jeans) are non-maternity, I just sized up to make the pieces fit the bump. 

Do you have any great plans for Valentine´s Day? We are probably going to stay in. Depends on how big the bump will be in a few weeks.
