we have a holiday ahead off us and my husband has Friday off too so this will be a long weekend for us. Probably doing nothing because nothing is allowed to do.
In honor of Mother´s Day we did a little mommy and me look shoot on Saturday but to be honest I do not need a huge reason like a holiday to match with my daughter. Probably going to do this as long as she tolerates it because I love it.
How adorable are our shackets. They are blush and a soft and thin corderoy material and I got them from PatPat. PatPat is my number one site when I plan on getting cute outfits to match with my little baby girl. They have a huge section with lots of different items. You could also easily match with your baby boy. The options are countless.
You may have already read about PatPat because I have been ordering our Christmas pj´s on their site for years and I loved them every season. The prices are very low so the quality might not be the best on every items but that totally depens on what you get. I ordered adorable sweaters for under ten and the quality is amazing.
Now let´s move on to our mommy and me look. Shackets are a huge trend since last Fall and I still love them. A shacket is such a versatile piece and should not be missed in the closet. Maybe you have seen my reel on Friday – I have shared three ways to style a shacket. Emilia and I styled our shackets very casual with a white tee and a pair of blue jeans.
A shacket is a great piece to add a pop of color to your look as well as to be the star of the show. I am all about layering pieces so this was so perfect. Maybe that is the reason I love Fall so much. All the layering with soft and gorgeous pieces.
If you are currently having a baby do you love to match as well ? This look would work with a little baby boy as well. Just swap out the blush shacket with a denim shirt and you are good to go as well.
How gorgeous can a magnolia tree be? This was such a beautiful sight than we decided to come back the next day to take this outfit with the tree in the background.
The dress I am wearing in this picture is from amazon and I already had in two other print prior plus I have my eye on the blue version for this year. It is just the perfect Spring / Summer dress and I can not recommend it enough.
Super comfortable, flowy and oh so dreamy plus it is not seethrough at all, comes in many pretty prints and is under 35 Euro.
I have had mine for years and still love and wear them a lot. Also they are great to transition into Fall. Just swap out the sandals and add a leather jacket or a trenchcoat, a cute hat and booties.
This is the kind of dress that makes me feel extra feminine. It is so flowy and the prints are so romantic and paired with the right pair of sandals it just looks super cute.
The tassels are a cute feature that break up the print a little and add interest.
If you are interested in different styling options here are the other two dresses I have styled already – Red for Fall, Pink for Summer.
and welcome to my new series – Styled Friday´s. I am planning on doing a Reel (I posted my first one today and I was so nervous) on how to style one significant piece three different ways every second Friday and then I am going to share all the details here on my blog.
I am really happy I finally started this. It was on my mind for quite some time and I have so many different styling ideas for a lot of fashionable pieces as well as the classics.
So for today´s Styled Friday´s I am sharing three ways to wear a faux leather shacket. Shackets are a huge trend since las Fall and I love mine. I got this super cool sage colored faus leather shacket yesterday. Sage is a huge color for Spring and Summer and I like it a lot. I have a feeling this will be a color you either hate or love and I am definitely on the loving side.
The Faux Leather Shacket
Here is the shacket I am wearing in the denim version. It is from C&A. I am going to link the leather one as soon as it is online.
