Combat Boots – the biggest shoe trend for the season…

if you are a long time follower you know that I love me a great pair of heels. Pointed toes, cute color or pattern, stiletto heel but to be honest they aren´t the most practical for Winter. I have seen the combat boot trend rise and to be honest I never thought myself of getting a pair of these but…

There are plenty of styles out there and also lots which are not as harsh as others. I definitely wanted a heel to come with it and also some kind of embellishment or pattern. The croc pattern and the subtle shine make them perfect.

I paired them with a simple pair of dark denim and an oversized cardigan. I have been wearing them for the last couple of weeks as sweaters which is a nice change. Plaid is my favorite winter pattern so I try to incorporate as much as possible of it into my daily looks.

Have you checked out the combat boot trend? Mine were about 40 Euro but I have seen them go for 2000 Euro and over if you want to have a designer brand piece.

I am sharing the last Instagram Round-Up of the year 2020 which seems very strange as it took about forever to end but suddenly the holidays were over.

To be honest I didn´t think that I had so many outfit snaps in the month of December cause we are in lockdown number 2 but we obviously went out quite a bit. So I got tons of pics while taking a walk and none in a café. Hopefully we can go somewhere again for my birthday but I almost doubt it.

I have been brainstorming and thinking about what post I wanted to share for the month of January. This is always the time time I tned to get a bit dull and creativeless. So for this year I have made a list before the holidays ended I think I have quite the great articles to come.

I also have a few home organization post for you in store. Just need to finish some things before I can take the before/after pictures.

Did you guys have a great long weekend? We didn´t do much to be honest. Just cleaned up the holiday mess and took down the Christmas decor.

Anyways I am back fresh and inspired for the new year and although we are starting with a hard lockdown it just dampens my spirit a little.

Happy New Year

and welcome to 2021. I hope you had a good new years and not feeling to bad or tired today. We slept in and cleaned up yesterdays dinner mess plus I did some laundry and also picked up stuff everywhere plus we took a New Years Day walk so I am feeling pretty productive today. Also met with the inlaws to wish a happy new year.

Since January is here and we are approaching the last two months of cold weather staying warm and comfy is a top priority but looking cute doesn´t hurt either am I right?

Chenille sweaters can be found everywhere this days and I love them. They are so soft and shimmery and just awesome.

I paired it with a pair of black denim culottes and pointed toe booties. To top it off and make it super warm for frosty days I added my favorite teddy coat.

It is going to be quiet around here until next week. I need to gather some ideas for January posts because I always get into a lump in the first two months of the year.

Winter Walk…

The sun has made a daily appearance which was very nice after weeks of fog so we definitely took advantage of that the last few days. Going on Winter walks would be even better if there was actual snow lying around but it is too warm anyways.

So let´s talk about the look I am wearing in this post. I love a good layered look and Winter is the perfect time for cute sweaters and faux fur jackets.

A sweater with a Norwegian print is my all time favorite for Winter. Usually I get some darker colors like navy blue, gray or black but this vibrant red and orange print is so beautiful as well.

Paired with a pair of jeans and a my UGG Bailey boots it makes a great Winter outfit. Top it off with a comfortable as a blanket faux fur coat and you are definitely good to go and stay warm as well.

Tomorrow is NYE already which means only one more day until we are heading into the new year and I hope it will hold better days for us.

I am going to share our photo backdrop for NYE in tomorrows post as inspo as well as our table scape and food ideas for last minute planner like I was this year.
