Hello my dessert loving friends,

I have such a sweet treat for you today you are going to love. Simple and delicious. That is what we love isn´t it?

Preparing a whole dinner is enough work, though so it is very nice to have a low maintenance dessert which can´t go wrong.
I decided to make an apple crumble as dessert for our Thanksgivinig dinner so I found lots of different recipes, tried some and mixed the best of everything togehter into one super apple crumble dish.
In fact the hardest part is to peel and cut the apples. See how easy is this???

 What you need:

– 6 apples (I took some from our garden which where a little bit more on the sour side)
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 1 tablespoon flour

– peel the apples and cut into small pieces
– put the sugar, cinnamon and flour with the apples into a bowl and mix together
– then pour the mixture into a oven safe bowl

So let´s work on the crumble…

– 1 cup of oatmeals
– 1 cup of flour
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
 – 1/2 cup of melted butter

– mix all the ingredients together and spread on top of your apple mixture

– but the bowl into the preheated oven on about 180° degrees for 45 minutes

– serve warm and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream

This really is so so so delicious we ate it within two days.

….

Good morning to all the future chefs,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung-Markennennung/Beitrag entält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
I love pasta. Spaghetti, maccaroni, penne and every other noodle on the planet. It is something I can´t get enough of and I could eat two times a day, every day. That is why I am shying away from it a little and only sometimes cook pasta at home. But then I go all in with my favorite ingredients and a glass of vino.

Serving this meal makes you look like a pro as you can beautifully drape it on the plate. Also the flavours of the pesto, the shrimps and the parmesan cheese go so well with the pine nuts. Overall a super quick meal to make. Takes 20 minutes max. and so

 Ingredients:
– shrimps (I buy them frozen and marinated but you can also use fresh ones)
– spaghetti
– pine nuts
– parmesan cheese
– green pesto

 – brown the shrimps in a pan until crisp
– boil hot water in a pot and add spaghetti – let cook for about 10 minutes or how you like it)
– sieve cooked spaghetti and add to the shrimps
– add pesto and let it cook on low heat for about 10 minutes
– take another pan and roast the pine nuts (the taste is better and more intense if you do that but don´t leave the pan as this happens very fast)
– serve on pretty pasta plates and sprinkle with the roasted pine nuts and grated parmesan cheese

I really enjoy the simplicity and versatility of pasta recipes. You could easily eat a different dish for the rest of your lives.

Are you also a pasta fan like I am or are you more on the rice side of life?

Food Friday – hearty miniature bundt cakes and wine tasting….

….

Happy Friday guys and welcome back to my blog,

(post contains affiliate links / Werbung-Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I am all about enjoying a glass of rosé or red after a day of work or on the weekend. Since I have always liked wine more than any other alcohol (no fan of beer and I totally hate all the hard liquors) I have a few brands I am loving and buying over and over again. The Gallo Family for example has all the wines from white to red we love.

Florian is preferring a glass of white over any other but he doesn´t mind drinking a sip of red with me. The Gallo wine group is the largest exporter of California wines so there is one for every adult in our family.

Ingredients:
This is an all-in batter – one of my absolute favorites.

– 100 gr. bacon, diced
– 100 gr. chopped scallions
– 150 ml milk
– 80 ml rape oil
– 1 egg
– 220 gr. of flour
– 1 teaspoon of salt
– 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
– 2 teaspoons tomato spice (this is all I add but you are free to take whatever you like)

I got the silicone mini bundt cake baking form (better to remove them single afterwards)
Put one tablespoon of batter into the

Bake for 28 to 30 minutes at a 180° degrees.

If you want you can them enjoy warm as well.

I am sharing my most requested recipe with you today. As simple as it is as quick is it eaten at any ocassion I make it. Sometimes it´s the easy things guys. These soft little rolls filled with herb butter and topped with delicious parmesan cheese will make you addicted.
I always buy the Knack & Back (Pillsbury) six rolls in one. Just throw them in the oven and bake for about 12 minutes or fill and sprinkle them with cheese for a delighted side dish.

Ingredients:
– 2 rolls with each 6 rolls
– 1 stick of herb butter
– 1 cup of parmesan cheese
– olive oil
– fill the middle of the rolls with half a teaspoon herb butter
– spread olive oil in your baking dish
– put your filled rolls into it and sprinkle with plenty of parmesan cheese
– bake until the rolls get golden brown (or for about 30 minutes) by 170° degrees
Pretty easy am I right. The perfect side dish for a BBQ, a picnic or just as snack.

I am seeing myself of into the weekend and leave you with this great and easy recipe. Have fun baking.
