Hi guys,

after fall is fully here I started decorating my front porch (you may have already seen pictures on Instagram) and it turned out great (or at least I think so) 😉
I went to two pumpkins fields this year and got so many different pumpkins. I only had the big orange ones last year but now I got a whole bunch of little ones for decorating too.
I wanted something bigger and prettier than last year (you can view it here) so I went on Pinterest to gather some inspiration and to pick out some ideas and it turned out great. The best part about my decor is the big straw ball. I also got two plant pots for the mums and a tin bucket. I also wanted to have a wooden box to put even more pumpkins into it. 

The two lanterns on the left side are really pretty after sunset. The candles are flameless and they have a timer so they start shining however you timed them. That is indeed a pretty cool idea. Got this one from Kaitleen from Southern Curls and Pearls.

Hi guys,

by following my blog you might know that I have a thing for themed dinner parties or
tablescapes. You can see my latest here, here, here, here and here.
And if you
are new to my blog you are going to know now.

I always
loved Mexican food so I thought why not invite our friends and neighbours over
to a Mexican evening. I was planning on a three course meal with an aperitif
and it turned out really well. 
As a
starter I served homemade guacamole and salsa for dipping with nachos and a
margarita. 

The main
course where baked burritos which where delicious. A really easy recipe with
great taste. 
For desert I made a fruit salad in a watermelon (looked so cool) and Churros (I tried to make them before cause I was
really scared that they wouldn´t work out, maybe you saw them in one of my casaul Satruday posts already) and they turned out really good. Easier than I thought.

But let´s
have a look at the table decoration. I went for the full Mexican theme with
little sombreros, matching confetti and a piĂąata. The napkins are from Butlers and they are the cutest I could have found. Most of the decoration is from amazon cause they just have everything.

with the beginn of summer we are craving light and refreshing drinks the minute the sun goes up. I have to admit I am not a big fan of mixing juices or cocktails. It is just too sweet and I don´t like it at all but I am a wine lover and I have found a great option.

A dry rosĂŠ wine, Schweppes Russian Wild Berry, raspberries and mint leaves – this makes the perfect symphony for your taste buds. You can mix it however it tastes best for you so now meassuring. I mixed two-thirds wine with one third Schweppes.

Speaking of perfect – how beautiful are these glasses and the carafe. The golden palm leaf print is so aborable and it is the perfect set for summer. This adds so much chic to dining outdoors and they are definitely a highlight in your glass cabinet.

I also got this metal tray for carrying all the glasses but it would also make a nice piece of decoration.

we finally got our own outdoorspace to sit in the evenings with a nice glass of wine, make smores, host BBQ´s and so much more…
We had the space since we moved in but there wasn´t enough time last year and we had to do soooooo much inside the house. But this year is different, we went to Ikea to buy the furniture (including a table – this is huge it almost didn´t fit in the car, 4 chairs and a bench – which I personally think is so cool) in a light grey color with a metall touch. I also got many many comfortable cushions. 

The color theme will be grey, red and a kind of dark orange (the cushions are striped). This matches perfect with the house and the rest of the outside.  I can´t wait to have our first BBQ. We also got a grill and a pair of beach chairs and this super cool flamingo solar light. ChloĂŠ isn´t so sure about him.
