 you all know how much I love a vibrant color adding to my outfit but sometimes it just has to be a little less so I am even more looking forward wearing colorful clothes again.



This combination of black, grey and white was just perfect for a lazy Sunday. We only had some take-away from the Indian restaurant so the skirt was the perfect piece – so comfortable and forgiving when you ate to much. 

This belt has been on repeat many many times – you might have seen it on the blog or on Instagram. It is not the fact that I am a line dancer that I love a double buckled western belt but it helps 🙂
The cardigan is pretty old but stripes won´t go out of fashion so it is safe to say it will stay quite a while. I took the colors from the cardi and created the whole outfit arround this piece and it turned out great – in my opinion. The three-tone block heels matched perfect and the cute little David Jones bag was the perfect complement.

I am really happy that it is Friday tomorrow. We are heading into the city to try out a tapas bar which recently opened.

everytime I got a few days off I just can´t relax. It is like there are a millions things to do and explore and I want to do them all at once.

So we planed a couple of excursions on sights nearby and on one day we went to the Nepal temple and gardens. It was only a 45 minutes drive until we got there.


The gardens are all around a big temple and a small pond with lots of koi karps. We spent some hours there exploring everything and taking some outfit pictures. 

It is really nice and neat there but you can´t take your dog with you – that´s the only downside.

This outfit worked perfectly for the garden atmosphere. The dress is one of my latest finds and I love the palmprint. I am totally into palmprints right now. I also got this swim suit from SheIn. Another thing are the flats. How cute is the little palmtree brooch ?! They matched perfectly with the dress although they where almost to flat for a maxi dress.

today I am reporting about a color which is still a huge trend for this Spring and Summer season – a yellow handbag. I was searching for the perfect one since last year (I got one but I didn´t like it in the end so I returned it cause I could not be closed and the material was kind of stiff) and didn´t find another until the Summer ended. But this year I started researching as soon as the snow melted and I found one at one of my favorite stores for affordable bags – CARPISA.

The Dara Bag – it is kind of a hobo bag with a zipper to close and an ostrich detailed materil on the outside. The yellow is a mix between a really bright and sunny yellow and a mustard one. Not to neon but still bright and vibrant. 

I already have some bags from Carpisa in my collection. They don´t have a store in Germany which is pretty sad but we are mostly travelling to cities where they have a store and they offer pretty fast shipping from their online store so it´s not to bad.

I have listed a huge range of yellow bags in different shades and shapes below. 

In fact we didn´t plan anything special for the long weekend. It will depend on the weather situation.

Summer is officially here. We had a heat period lasting four days with really high temperatures up in the mid thirties.
I love wearing midi skirts for Summer they are so flowy and airy and perfect for the climate (and I find wearing them in Winter with tights is pretty annoying). I got this skirt from my mom and I actually don´t know where she got it from or what brand it is but it the flower pattern is so pretty (I have some similar options in the widget below to shop). First it was a little overwhelming and I didn´t know exact what to pair with it cause I wanted to go with purple or yellow first but I think this ivory ruffle blouse is the way better pick. 

The Coach satchel bag I got in London made the perfect match to the outfit and this pair of ruffle sandals also paired perfectly together (to stay in the ruffle theme).

I am sorry for not posting my monthly favorites but in fact I have so many new beauty products which came out lately and I first wanted to try them out and then tell you about it and second I might post another „latest beauty picks post“ to show you all the make-up related products I got. So the July favorites are definitely going to be huge. 

We are out for dinner this evening. In fact we have a double date. I want to bring back our usual Wednesday date night but with so many other festivities going on it is almost to much to go out four or five days a week. Let´s see how the Summer turns out.
