today I am reporting about a color which is still a huge trend for this Spring and Summer season – a yellow handbag. I was searching for the perfect one since last year (I got one but I didn´t like it in the end so I returned it cause I could not be closed and the material was kind of stiff) and didn´t find another until the Summer ended. But this year I started researching as soon as the snow melted and I found one at one of my favorite stores for affordable bags – CARPISA.

The Dara Bag – it is kind of a hobo bag with a zipper to close and an ostrich detailed materil on the outside. The yellow is a mix between a really bright and sunny yellow and a mustard one. Not to neon but still bright and vibrant. 

I already have some bags from Carpisa in my collection. They don´t have a store in Germany which is pretty sad but we are mostly travelling to cities where they have a store and they offer pretty fast shipping from their online store so it´s not to bad.

I have listed a huge range of yellow bags in different shades and shapes below. 

In fact we didn´t plan anything special for the long weekend. It will depend on the weather situation.

a few days ago we spent a sunny and warm day at the Tegernsee near Munich. For us it is about 90 km to drive so we arrived about an hour after departure. 

It is a pretty nice place but also really expensive (famous soccer players have houses there). They have one big restaurant which is also a brewery – it is called „The Bräustüberl and they make their own beer. We went there for Lunch.On the other note they have such cute places for coffee. We went to the Seehaus Coffee Bar. It had a little patiospace at the back where you could sit outside with a great view over the lake.There where lots of cute little boats and sailboats.

I also wanted to do a boat ride but as you can see from the pictures it was a pretty windy day.


We had Chloe with us and she was so busy the whole time with all the ducks and the waves and so much new things to see and all the sniffing. She had been totally exhausted and slept within a minute as we got back into the car.

we finally got our own outdoorspace to sit in the evenings with a nice glass of wine, make smores, host BBQ´s and so much more…
We had the space since we moved in but there wasn´t enough time last year and we had to do soooooo much inside the house. But this year is different, we went to Ikea to buy the furniture (including a table – this is huge it almost didn´t fit in the car, 4 chairs and a bench – which I personally think is so cool) in a light grey color with a metall touch. I also got many many comfortable cushions. 

The color theme will be grey, red and a kind of dark orange (the cushions are striped). This matches perfect with the house and the rest of the outside.  I can´t wait to have our first BBQ. We also got a grill and a pair of beach chairs and this super cool flamingo solar light. Chloé isn´t so sure about him.

I always love choosing a popping color for my outfit but sometimes it has to be nude. 


I paired this olive green pencil skirt from H&M with a simple pullover including a light bell sleeve. The leopard lace-up flats match the outfit perfectly. I also paired a Michael Kors logo tote with the outfit. Perfect for a casual friday at work or to run some errands. 


We are out running lots of errands today. So see you tomorrow.
