it was such an exhausting week for me so I am just checking back with a little outfit inspo and then going to bed. So many appointments and not feeling the best of me has made it very difficult to get to Friday.
We are in total leave peak the last week or so and it is just the most beatiful thing to watch while driving. All the pretty colorful and vibrant leaves plus they make the best photo background.
I have worn this super cute look for brunch last week. Isn´t a pleated skirt so much fun. I just love how it instantly add a feminine touch to a look. Blue is surprisingly one of my most worn colors. Never would I thought it´s blue.
So to tune it down a little for a Saturday morning outing I added a denim jacket. Always works, always looks cute.
We have some plans for the weekend but nothing breath taking. Going to Ikea, looking at cars, taking some pictures and overall spending some time outside before it will be rainy and gloomy all day again.

I love my tights, fishnet, polka dots or just plain color. I know this is a very controversic topic cause not everyone likes to wear them and some of my followers live in places where to don´t need them and I also understand that some outfits might look strange with ´em but I can´t think of wearing no tights in Fall and Winter.
There are some patterns I love and polka dots are definitely one of them. The other one would probably we plaid or anyhting with fishnet and lace.
Paired with this very fall-ish outift they definitely make my Fall hurt beat faster. The pinafore dress is from my 30 dresses of Summer series but can be transitioned into Fall and Winter. All I did was swap the t-shirt for a turtleneck and add tights and a cute colorful and plaid scarf. The boots I am wearing are still going strong for the second year. Lug sole boots are all the hype and I actually got a ton of wear out of them last year and still love them. Also got a second pair in a gorgeous creme color.
I will probably start holiday content at the end of next week cause there will be so many delivery shortages this year due to Corona. Just to give you a heads up.

I am sharing my second Halloween costume today which should have been a mommy and me costume and yes Emilia is in a few photos but she was not having it so she cried the whole time trying to escape. She hated the skirt and the cat ears although she loved them the day before. Toddlers, am I right?!!!
So yes this would be an adorable idea for a mommy and me costume. It is super easy to recreate and it is also pretty affordable. The black shirts and tight had already been in our closets so we only added the tulle skirts, the cat ears and the cat tails to the mix.
Everything is from amazon and has prime shipping so this would also be a great last minute costume if you can´t deceide until the end or have no time upfront.
To be honest I had so many cute mommy and me things planned but most of the time when Emilia sees the camera she just runs. I have to accept that she is no Instagram baby and I am fine with that cause the ocassional pic is fine with her. Very afraid of familiy pictures we are taking on the weekend.
