The Kimono Life – styled with a dress…

I love the kimono style. It is easy, comfortable and so so chic. You can get super cute kimonos everywhere since they have became such a huge trend.

My closet consists now plenty in different prints and colors and I am still not tired of wearing them. Kimonos are so versatile. For this style I have worn it with a dress but they look great with a skirt and shirt or jeans and shirt combo. Either way it is an effortless style that looks great and will earn tons of compliments. Also easy to conceal a few pounds you are trying to get rid of like I do at the moment.

This post was supposed to go online yesterday but I was just too tired in the evenig. I am sorry for the delay but I am planning on posting on Saturday for this week so I am back on track with my planned posts and drafts.

It was super hot outside today and I am enjoying our little pool more and more. It was such a great investment for these super hot days and I don´t know why we haven´t done this years ago.

the week is halfway through and so far it has been the most laid back in a long time. No appointments, no places to be. We spent a ton of our time outside in the garden as it has been super warm and windy so it was awesome to be outside.

Splashing around in the water and sitting under the fruit trees is so idyllic I don´t need to be anywhere on vacation cause it feels great.

Plus wearing all the flower dresses right now is giving me major Summer vibes. I have always loved flower prints no matter the flowers or the size. The dress I am wearing above is another great amazon find I also own in two other prints as the style of the dress is amazing. Super flowy and long sleeved (which I love cause I am not a huge fan of my arms) with an interesting neckline, a great lenght and available in 20 plus different colors and prints.

I am probably going to order more in darker colors as soon as Fall comes around. Prime shipping is available and they are under 40 Euro which is a great value.

Preparing some shoots tomorrow so I can get fresh content over the weekend. Going to add a bunch of new posts in the home decor category as well as the food category soon. So stay tuned for this if you are interested.

I am writing outdoors from my patio with my feet in the water for you today (you might have seen our awesome little kids pool on Instagram already). Sharing this very romantic summery look I have worn to breakfeast two weeks ago.

There is nothing more summery than straw accessories like hats or espadrilles. I love love love to wear them during this season and think they complement every summer look.

For this particular style I went with a black and white mix and have to admit even if I normally stay away from black in the Summer this fits great. The hat and the espadrilles lighten up the look and pull it together.

We are going to have our first date night since Covid 19 started on Friday and I can´t wait cause we are going to our favorite restaurant. Probably going to miss our baby a lot.

I can´t believe tomorrow is Thursday already. Time really flies with a baby. We had a hard day today, pediatricians appointment. I have been more nervous than she probably because she didn´t know were we where going and in the end she was a real trooper and everything went fine.

But let´s move on for today´s look. My first pool day inspo for (dog) pool days at home. To be honest wearing bathing suits always rang in summer days for me but this year feels strange. No planned vacation, no heading to a lake so what´s left is stay at home and get refreshed in your dogs/kids pool.

The tie-dye kimono is perfect if you have a ton of plain bathing suits cause it has every color needed in the pattern. I opted for a beautiful dark blue color. And why not dress up even if you only stay at home but we can´t stay in sweats all year. Style must go on and Summer only requires little make-up so there is no better time than to get back at it now.

I am going to try the world famous Dalgona coffee for you guys and report back on Friday. I am so curious.
