I was debating about posting these pictures because I look so so tired in them. I had the worst night with Emilia the night before and was so tired the whole day but we went out and on a walk and as great as the fresh air was my eyes still wanted to keep shut. But to be honest I think the outfit is too cute and fall-ish not to post plus there are some stylish components in the outfit too.

Animal print is huge this year whether it is leopard print, zebra pint or any other animal. It has become super famous and items normally sell out fast. H&M had a similar cardigan last year I wanted so bad but it sold out super quick so I was really happy after finding this one.

Denim has been in our closets for ages in every form clothing is possible. I got this denim dress last year and love it. The middle blue is the perfect shade of denim to style it with every other piece. It isn´t to thick so it can be styled for every season but Fall and Winter styles and everything that requires layering is my favorite.

The temps have dropped a lot the last few days and to be honest I don´t mind. Staying inside and cozying up on the sofa with my girls watching Christmas movies and drinking hot cocoa (my latest guilty pleasurse) is awesome. Also we are on another lockdown (light version) so there is not much to do.

This look is what a typical Fall outfit looks to me, basically the female version of a lumberjack. Soft, plaid flannel shirt, denim and brown booties.

I definitely am still in the Fall mood dressing wise but also have put up my Christmas tree. Not only because I love it and need to get into the Christmas spirit fast but I also want to shoot some blog post upfront and therefore all of our Christmas decor is already up. Not mad about it at all.

So as far as Fall style goes I love to add cozy materials but also Fall appropriate materials like sude leather. Fleece, flannel and knits are perfect for Fall weather. Looking cute and also keeping you warm. Suede and leather are the „manly“ companions to round-up your look. Fall styles can be edgy with boots, hats and big scarfs but also super cute with knit dresses, tights and overknee boots.

I am really sad that Fall is coming to an end as we are entering the holiday season.

Loungewear for colder days or sitting out a pandemic…

The pandemic happening this year plus the second (light) lockdown here in Germany has become the literal dead of dressing up. With holiday season upon us it is even one more reason to be sad about. I have loved getting ready for holiday themed parties and events and afterward slip into my cozy loungewear but times have changed and it took a tragic turn. Maybe I am exaggerating a little but that is how it feels to me.

Don´t get me wrong I like to get comfortable on the sofa as much as anybody but doing my make-up and get dressed everyday has always been a huge and important part of my daily routine and since having a baby and being at home cause is not safe / allowed to go anywhere I haven´t had that many ocassions to do so.

So I finally invested in some cute / chic loungewear cause even if I have to stay at home and be comfortable it doesn´t meant I have to do that in worn out gray sweatpants.

Loungewear has definitely improved and I ordered some cute pieces from Asos I wanted to share with you.

Poncho – styled for Fall…

this week didn´t go as planned (postwise) but I am positive the next weeks (full of Christmas content) are up as I intended it.

Our daughters baptism is tomorrow and I am really excited for her. It is another milestone in her young life. I hope everything goes well.

Going to share a lot more from invitations, cakes and outfits over the next weeks. Hopefully we can take some nice pictures and use them for our Christmas cards as there is no time left to take actual Christmas card pics.

But now on to the look I am wearing in the photos above. It is the perfect transitional look to wear on warmer Fall days. A cute and thin turtleneck shirt makes for a great base (did you recognize my favorite of all turtlenecks ever) and then followed by a poncho. I love wearing ponchos as outerwear but sometimes the time between warm Fall weather and freezing Fall weather is so short that I don´t get to wear all of my favorites and to be honest wearing a poncho under a jacket is the worst.

My love for bootcut jeans is still going strong. Loved them since I was a kid and still prefer them over skinny yeans. They looked great with the poncho so I am definitely going to wear this style again with different pieces.

How great is it that olive green has become such a popular color for Fall and Winter. I personally love this moody he of green. Do you like it or it is too military for you?
