Musselin dresses have become quite the top Summer item over the past few years. I for myself got one too and think it is a great piece for the hottest season of the year. It is oversized, airy and lightweight. 

But why is this such a great fabric for Summer. Musselin itself is very breathable because of its soft and loose texture. It absorbs moisture and dries quickly. If you ask me that makes anything musselin the perfect Summer companion.

I have paired the olive green with all gold and nude accessories.

Summer time really has the most romantic dresses of all seasons. I mean look at this gorgeous piece – the ruffles, the colors, the cut !!! Do I have to add more at this point!!

I have worn this cute little number last Sunday to church and it was perfect but not only for this ocassion. You could also wear it for your everyday outings just dress it down with some flats and a denim jacket (for cooler days or mornings, obviously not needed these days).

Everthing I am showing you is still non-maternity (I am going to share if I get some maternity pieces) so horray for oversized fits and airy Summer dresses. Especially all of the a-line dresses have made it fairly easy to get dressed in the morning and stay happy. Shoes is another thing – most of them are too tight right now even the wide fit ones. So I am saying farewell and see you next Summer. Gotta accept your losses where you can´t change them right?!

Palm Print Summer Maxi Dress…

It doesn´t get much more tropical than a palm tree print especially not for Summer am I right?! I have got this dress about a month ago from amazon and it is also available in an olive green color pairing but I like the turquoise one a lot better. 

It is very long on me so I would definitely say it is a maxi dress but if you are a little taller than me you could wear it as a midi dress. Nevertheless it is a great find for Summer. 

There is so much quality of life during the Summer months. Most of the days can be spent outside and seem to be a lot longer and of higher quality than the cold and dark Winter days. Very grateful for the last weeks. We spend as much time outside as possible and try to squeeze in as much activities as possible.
