it has been a couple of cooler days over here but to be honest I don´t mind. I am fed up of the Summer humidity and ready for Fall. Call me crazy but I have already researched some Fall candles and thought about burning the ones I have left from last year.
With all the social distancing and WFH it is nice to dress up on some days but can be even better to look put together and wear something super comfortable. I have found this dress on amazon while I was looking for something else and gave it a try as it was only about 15 Euros. Shipping took about three weeks and to be honest the dress isn´t 100% the one from the description (it looks like a linen material on the picture) but it definitely is nice and comfortable.
The color blocking is super trendy and the maxi dress is available in 14 different color blocking options. I went with yellow as main color, of course. I am still not quite sure what it is with my obsession with yellow but it continues for sure.
I am currently on day 4 of my #closetchallenge and I think I am doing pretty well. Have worn lots of older pieces I loved but somehow didn´t came around wearing. I you care to join feel free to tag me on Instagram.
it has been really gloomy and rainy today so we didn´t do anything than lurk around at home. I recently started outfit planning for Fall and it makes me so giddy and excited for spending the first Fall with my little girl and dressing her all things Fall. I have already found some cute things for her.
This is going to be my last #reallife round-up for the whole month of August as I am doing my #closetchallenge.
I am currently sitting at the doctor´s office taking my after birth 3 hours glucose test and waiting for it to pass. Hopefully everything is back to normal and the gestational diabetes issue hasn´t turned into a regular diabetes issue. Fingers crossed and hoping for the best over here.
Since I love a good fashion and/or beauty challenge I decided to go ahead and challenge myself to not buy a single piece of clothing including shoes/bags/jewelry etc. for the whole month of August. I have a ton of cute Summer pieces I didn´t came around to wear so I decided in honor of my closet I rather should wear theses at least once this season before getting a new piece and let the older ones sit in the closet. This will definitely surprise my husband and I think he will be very happy about this choice. I am super curious if I make it to September.
This also means no more quarantine style and wearing a real outfit every day for the whole month.
I am going to keep you posted week by week and also on my Instagram how I am doing but I honestly think this is a great way to rewear pieces of your closet. Also feel free to join me and tag me in your feed.
I have been on a total boho kick lately and loved all the pieces I have gotten so far. Most of them include the perfect color pairings as well like brown and orange which makes them the perfect pieces for transitioning into Fall.
A flowy white blouse can totally be worn all Summer long even if it has long sleeves like the version I am wearing above but to be honest it doesn´t even feel like wearing anything at all. Easy breezy pieces make my days in the Summer heat.
For a more laid back look I went with denim shorts. Not a huge shorts fan at all over here so it took quite some time before I decided to add a pair to my wardrobe. I don´t want them to be to short cause to be honest who wants to reveal parts of their butt? Finally found a affordable pair cause I am surely not wearing them too often this season but for some ocassions shorts come in very handy.
The accessories I added to my look are all in the same color and look super cute with the blouse as the exact same color is in the pattern too.
In my opinion the boho style looks best in Summer and Fall so I am definitely going to share some more as the season progresses.
