Transitioning into fall – tie sleeves and velvet…

….

Hi guys,
two weeks ago we had a real peek into fall weather. It had rained the night before and it was really chilly the next day, the day we shoot the pictures. I was so happy that it had finally cooled down so I could wear my felt hats, my thin sweaters, pumps and denim. I don´t know about you but I can not wear a pair jeans when it is hot outside and I am constantly sweating. They won´t get higher than to my knees. Little embarassing but I just can´t help it.

I wanted to be outside the whole day to soak up the fresh and crisp air but unfortunately it started raining in the afternoon so we cuddled up on the sofa, lit a pumpkin candle and enjoyed homemade roasted sweet potatoes.

All the pieces in this look (except the hat and the shoes) sat on the shelf and waited to be worn. I am still searching for a perfect pair of black jeans. Haven´t found it yet allthough I have three pairs (a kick flare pant – the one I am wearing here, a distressed one and a patchwork one) but none of them is a hundred percent good. They are about 85 which is good for me cause somehow I have a strange relationship to black jeans. Somedays I love them and someday I hate them, there is no inbetween. Anyways this pair was perfect for a cold day. The denim material is thick and totally tucks you in.

Velvet is one of my most worn material in fall so I really couldn´t say no to this beautiful bag. Have you seen all the different colors. How great is this going to be to pair with all the fun fall colors. Also the shopper holds a lot. It is really roomy and on SALE you guys.

By so many different colors in the bag finding a matching sweater was really easy. This little tie-sleeve number is so adorable I have worn it three days in a row already. So happy this trend is going last another season as I just can´t get enough of it.

Are you looking forward to fall as much as I do ? What do you love most about it?

We are currently on our way to the airport as we are going on our honeymoon to Spain today. I am so happy and so excited. Be sure to follow me around on Instagram (madame_schischi)

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

Good morning friends,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung-Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
it is the night after Florian´s birthday party. And although guests where leaving early cause everyone has to go to work today I am feeling whacked. After one day of preparation and one day of cooking (although I had two helpers) my back hurts so so much and also my feet. But I do love him so much and seeing how happy he was to have all his family and friends gathered around for his birthday was rewarding enough and almost makes me forget my pain.

But let´s have a closer look at my outfit. I means who doesn´t love a gorg ruffle detailing?

I paired this shirt (got it about 7 years ago in Brazil) with a dark blue pencil skirt from H&M. I really love their skirts and if it would be possible I would get them all. They are always on point. Fit great and the styles and patterns are adorable.
Since I wanted the style of this look to be chic but a little bit on the edgy side I paired it with a distressed denim jacket. I just love a good denim jackets and I have quite the variety. A formal denim blazer jacket, a regular middle blue one, one with sequins all over, a distressed one and of course a 90´s oversized one. You get my point right? If nothing fits wear a denim jacket.

To round up the look I opted for a pair of block heel sandals in the same color range like the top and a handbag in the color of the jacket to not involve to many different colors. If you want to add depth to your look just change the hues from one color from lighter to darker before you opt for a total different color.

Hope you are having a nice week so far. I am going to clean up what´s left of the party mess today and otherwise I just want to sit on the sofa and watch Netflix.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care See you.

My top 9 boots for this fall and winter….

…..

Hi guys,

I have rounded-up my favorite boots and booties I have found for fall and some for winter so far. So some of you might still mourn about the end of summer (I do too in some moments) but there is so much we can look forward now. Plaid shirts, comfy scarfs, suede boots, Thanksgiving, Starbucks fall edition coffee´s, leaves changing colors, pumpkin in everything.

So since I am not a real black fan, although I am wearing it a lot in the winter, there are lot´s of brown alternatives for you.

Suede has always been a favorite of mine. I like the feel of the material and also how it looks so I am always taking the suede version it there is one available.
I never owned a pair but finally got one for this year. And I must say I am an idiot. First of all I have to admit I was sceptical on paying 130 Euro for a pair of rubber boots but you can´t compare to usual ones. The material is super soft and the sole as well. This boot is so comfortable, you have to try it on otherwise you will not believe it at all. I got mine in navy blue.
This is a staple shoe to me as I love wearing dresses and skirts in winter too and I just don´t want to wear my beautiful high heels so I always get an alternative which could be worn on the cold snow days and your feet won´t get wet immidiately.
I always opt for Buffalo booties when I am on the hunt for a classic black one with a pointed toe. They fit true to size and don´t cost a fortune.

 Overknees
This style of boots might not be a trend article anymore. It has become a real wardrobe staple is is about to stay. There are several types from a cozy velvet material to a soft suede one. And inbetween velvet and leather. So the possibilietes are endless. Styling overknees can be a little tricky cause you don´t wont to go to sexy. But by adding a pair of pants to an off the shouder pullover or black tights and a chunky turtleneck to a short skirt you are good to go. It is all about balance here and I don´t mean the heel.

Ugg boots
Uggs are a real fall/winter staple for my wardrobe. I love visiting Christmas markets but by standing around and enjoying some punch my usually my hands get warm and my feet are colder by every minute. I have tried so many different kinds of boots and the only ones I won´t get cold feet are Uggs. I think it might be the lamb wool lining which keeps my feet warm. In fact I don´t care what it is as long as my feet stay warm.

Velvet booties
Since I only had one velvet piece last year (a gorgeous black blazer jacket with golden studs) I got a pair of gray velvet booties as soon I have found a pair I liked. They are so soft and the velvet is structured with a pretty pattern outside. They really are perfect and I can´t wait to wear them (my broken toe first has to get better). They are true to size and only cost 50 Euro. Since this is a real trend item I did not want to spend so much money on a pair.

Sorel winter boots
Can´t say much about them cause I never owned a pair but I really like the way they look. I have heard many great things about them. They keep your feet warm no matter how cold it is or gets and they are waterproof. I think I might get a pair this year. I do think they look really fashionable (a great plus for such functionable boots) in the color pairings they offer. Probably a good pair of boots for going on walks in the winter but they are really pricey and I first have to think about if I am out this much.

Classic feminine boot
A classic feminine black boot with a pointed toe and a stiletto heels is a staple piece like a pair of pointed toe heels. It is a must have for winter. You need an elegant pair of boots for events in case it is too cold for heels.

 Biker boots
Maybe not a style for everyone (I also had to get used to them) but they add such edgy vibe to a winter outfit. You can keep it pretty casual by wearing them with a chunky knit sweater and a pair of jeans or you can dress down an elegant outfit with them like a black skirt and a white button down. For some more sexiness add a pair of lace tights or fishnet tights to the look. Also a good alternative in case it is snowing all the time or it is totally icey outside.

Hazelnut colored suede boots
These are my number one trend pair for upcoming seasons. Every year I see them on so many fashion blogger and at the time I also want to have a pair the best are already gone. So for this year I might have a good pair soon. Ordered the ones in the collage but obviously they don´t fit a dancing girl. My calves are too thick for them. In fact they would work for only wearing skirt but I want to pair them with leggins and jeans too so I am searching for another pair. Already ordered some. Although they don´t fit me they are true to size, a super soft material and just so beautiful. Get your hands on them as long as they are available.

What are your go to pairs for fall and winter ?

Fall style – bold blue dress and grey accessories for under 120 Euro….

dress H&M sold out similar here, here and here / bag David Jones not online available similar here and here / wedges old similar here and here / earrings old similar here and here

….
Hi guys,
another week has started and I really wasn´t ready for the weekend to end. I just wanted to get so much more done than I did. It wasn´t too bad cause I could cross of  al lot of my list but just not enough.
But let´s talk about this beautiful blue dress I had worn earlier. This would be perfect for a nice and sunny fall day worn with a pair of wedges (like I did), a pair of peeptoe booties or a pair of booties.  It is the perfect dress to transition into fall since the sleeves are long and you could easily wear it with a long jacket or a leather jacket on colder days.
The dress also has a pretty all over flower pattern (I love wearing flowers throughout the whole year) in a beautiful grey and white hue that is perfect to combine other pieces to it like this my favorite grey hand bag from David Jones. It adds suchs a feminine chic to it.

And the blue is so beautiful. There is something about a bold blue shade which is really special. Maybe that´s because it is a royal color.

Unfortunately the same dress in not available anymore but I have listed some similar ones in the widget below.
So I have said it before and I say it again. One of the things I love most for fall is the crisp and fresh air on sunny days. It just feels so new and refreshing. So I am pretty happy that fall is finally here. I started decorating our front porch. Just have to get some pumpkins today and I am done. Post is coming soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hope your Monday isn´t as bad as mine. Take care. See you.
