and with today´s post I am kicking off Valentine´s Day post season. This is my first post of the year regarding one of my favorite holidays.
I have posted tons of Valentine´s Day content over the years but never thought of making cute pink waffles. Now that we had so much time on hand and a waffle iron I made several different things in the waffle iron amongst waffles but for today´s post pink waffles it is and I am clearly not mad about it.
Being spoiled on Valentine´s Day with breakfast in bed or a sweet treat in the afternoon is definitely a very nice gesture but you can easily make them by yourself. All you need is a basic waffle recipe and red food coloring. The food color I am always using and is from Wilton and it creates the brightest shades.
This is the waffle recipe I have used. We made quite a lot of waffles since the first time for our breakfast board. They are the easiest of all sweet breakfast treats.
My pj´s are from Missguided and I got them from Asos. I could not link them via Shopstyle but I added some very similar and a ton of other cute pieces to the widget.
It snowed so much today so I got a ton of computer work done as we didn´t set foot outside. See you tomorrow with another style post.
I originally had other content planned for today and the rest of the week but I am having some website issues I need to fix first and therefore I can not load up new pictures so thankfully this post was already in the drafts otherwise I wouldn´t have anything left to post this week. But I promise you as soon as everything is fixed I will upload the red wine post.
Anyways who doesn´t love a cute faux leather skirt? I think I can see all of your hands going up in the air… I own a great amount of faux leather skirt whether they are short or midi, black or brown, ruffled or sleek I love them all and wear them frequently. Mostly in the Fall and Winter months because I don´t like them stick to my legs but that really is their only flaw.
A leather skirt instantly makes a look interesting if not sassy. I personally like to dress it down a little unless I am going out (but let´s be honest these days are gone with Corona, at least until the Summer). So for my outfit above I went with cozy knits and tights.
To be honest I haven´t worn this many scarves I did this season the last years combined but if you ask me why I don´t know. I love to add pattern or another color throughout a scarf plus it is super cozy and keeps you warm.
Have a great weekend and see you as soon as possible again.
we are in the middle of the Winter but that doesn´t stop me from wearing dresses. It is just all about the layers plus a thick knit dress will do the trick.
The dress I am sharing today is a statement in the closet. It is from bonprix and it is available every year in different colors. I got it in pink and red and black.
It is easy to wear, looks great with pumps or boots and can be worn at home as well as to your office. The knit midi dress is really thick and not seethrough at all which is something I find very important.
So for this look I added a lot of patterns like the snake print pattern in the boots and the black and white pattern in the scarf but kept to color theme to not overwhelm the whole look. In my opinon it turned out pretty great looking a bit sassy.
Red, black and white is definitely one of favorite color combinations. You can find plenty of styled outfits on my blog.
I am sharing our red wine tasting plus review tomorrow. So make sure to check back if you are interested.
the new week is here and with the ongoing lockdown it will look like the weeks before. Staying home, killing time and hoping it will be normal again very soon.
Starting slow today with this casual look. If you are a long time reader you know I won´t trade leopard print for any other print in the world. That is doesn´t always have to be brown shows this adorable and comfortable cardigan. Olive green has been one of my favorite colors for a long time now and it pairs so well with a bunch of different colors. I personally like red and pink too as well as cognac brown.
I styled this outfit very casual cause it was a Sunday and I was very lazy to be honest. So denim and turtleneck shirt it was plus the leopard print cardigan and the hat to add some print and edge. And how cute is the little crossbody bag. It is from Katie Loxton, one of my favorite handbag brand for cute and affordable handbags.
Going to shoot another great date night idea this week plus my thoughts on a bunch of red wines we tried the last few months so stay stuned if you are interested. Also Valentine´s Day content will be coming to the blog very soon.
