it has been snowing on and off for the last seven days or so, also it is freezing cold and January which officially matches the month to the weather.

There is no possibility of wearing heels soon so I finally got myself a pair of warm and comfortable duck boots. So far they have been great. I didn´t not freeze nor slip and they are waterproof where it is important.

The style is called duck boot because the boot was created by a man who was in need of a pair of shoes which could keep his feet dry while hunting ducks. Also some say the tip of the shoe reminds them of the beak of a duck. Another term for the style is bean boot. 

We definitely enjoyed the last few days getting fresh snow every once in a while because no one has to drive anywhere. To add some color to the look I am wearing above I went with a vibrant sweater including different colors. I picked out pink and wore my pink beanie as well as blush lipstick. 

In honor of Valentine´s day and also because we are in our second hard lockdown I am starting a at home date night series tomorrow sharing one funny idea each week. So stay tuned.

I am usually not posting on Saturdays but I had some time on my hand and have taken a lot of cute Winter looks the last few days so I wanted to share some inspo. 

We just came home from visiting a befriended couple of ours. They have a baby boy who is three months younger and I am always in awe that in baby age this is such a huge different. He started rolling over and Emilia is crawling everywhere at the moment. It is just amazing how they develop in such a short time.

Anyways let´s chat about the look I am wearing in the pictures above. I love a cape as much as anyone who wants to add some drama to a style but a plaid one including pink and orange is perfection itself.

The question was if I wanted to go with orange or pink and I went with pink cause I missed wearing my MAC Retro Gloss and this was the perfect ocassion to put it on again. 

Beige is a great color to pair with many others but Pink really pops with it. This was one of the outfits I felt very Gossip Girl with and I didn´t hate it.

We are now home cooking together and watching TV. Another hard lockdown is starting on Monday so there isn´t going to be much to-do.
